I put in for Europe tickets, fuck it these shows are all around my 25th birthday and I'm treating myself to the motherland Italy. After going to Brooklyn 2 and Charlottesville this year, this band is at their best right now I should kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I went to Europe for my first time last year (Dublin, London, Amsterdam) and it was incredible. I'm the only one in my Italian family that hasn't been to Italy, well I'm going if I get these tickets.

I put in for Amsterdam, Milan, and Trieste.

Proposed itinerary: London (Arrive) > Amsterdam > Paris > Zurich (quick stop) > Milano > Trieste > Venezia > Firenze > Cinque Terre > Milano (Depart)

I'll save Roma, Naples, and Siciliy for 2015/2016. Cinque Terre must happen in June.

    YOLO

Should be a great trip. I'm listening to Brooklyn 2 right now and this is the best the band has ever sounded to me too. Good luck with the lotto!

I admire and respect your approach as both a Pearl Jam fan and an Italian American. Salute!

Atta kid. Way to live. Cinque Terre is possibly my favorite place on the planet. Mix that in with a PJ show on the same trip and I don't think it could get better than that!

So jealous! Partly because I am pregnant and cannot travel as I am due in February - but mostly financially jealous! What would a trip like that cost!?

Thanks OP you've inspired me to go for it and try for tickets for the San Siro!

As a massive football fan this is a dream trip, memories of Shearer scoring two there for newcastle vs inter are still fresh in my memory :D

Awesome, OP!! Hope you score tickets...as for cost, my wife and I did a 10 day Euro trip (with 3 PJ gigs) last year for about $5k.

5k seems reasonable for everything that is involved. Out of my range for a few years - as it only gets more expensive. Appears a lot of planning is involved as well! Thanks for the info!

Good for you man, did that as a 23 year old last summer, but am pretty limited this summer. "Every man dies, but not every man truly lives."

Nice, enjoy! I wish I was that impulsive, I've never been to Europe and I really want to go to Italy. I made the trip from Chicago to Seattle, that was big for me, heh.

Got GA for Amsterdam, Milan, and Trieste =D

The plan is to buy your plane ticket and concert ticket now so you forget about how much your spending. I got 6 months now to save up for hostels/hotel, food, train travel, and more.
