It would have been much better in a smaller venue. The idiot fans ruin it. How many times do you assholes need to get up for beer or whatever the fuck you do 14 times during the show? Stay home jerks. EDDIE DOESN'T CARE WHAT YOUR SCREAMING. HE WONT PLAY YOU A SONG IF YOU YELL IT OUT AFTER EVERY SONG. The set is written out backstage. This show did it for me I think.....I'm spent on PJ for a while. I expect exactly the same thing tomorrow night.....setlist included. And if Ed gave a shit about the fans, why does he do the show on a Monday night at 9pm? We are all not millionaires that live in Hawaii. We have jobs dude. Most of us anyway. To much to ask for shows on Friday or Saturday night? I guess so. Whatever is convenient for you Ed. I dont know.... this tour has left a sour taste in my mouth. END RANT.

    stop complaining. he cant only play shows on friday and saturdays, well maybe if you told him that those are the only nights you can go out he might for you. stop being selfish and dont butch about things that arent anyones fault (what is he going to do about the crowd? seriously)

    umm....your ticket had the time and date printed on it and you probably knew that when you bought the ticket....also this show was announced at least a month ago, take a half day off work tomorrow....there was this thing they developed back in the day called...planning ahead.....wow, i hope this post is a joke

    Hunh!? I thought the crowd was well behaved... the odd thing was shouted out, but that's normal at any show/any band... nothing too obnoxious and Ed seemed to be enjoying himself and sharing banter with some people (like the whole "I love you" segue), he even commented that the assholes were left behind in Boston and played "Masters of War" commenting that he heard someone call out for it. I loved it *shrugs*

    I personally thought the crowd was pretty well behaved. No where near as bad as I thought it would be. Yeah people were yelling but it wasnt consistent and was mostly between songs not during.

    What part of Monday confused you when you bought the ticket?

    The only problem I had were the tools who ran to the front toward the end of the show. Security tried to stop this during the show, but the mad rush came from people at the end. I just... hate people like that... I don't know it's a pet peeve of mine. I know there are people who hate the "whine about it on a message board" type of people, but this gets to me. Anyway... yea. Don't run to the front!

    If you wanted a weekend, choose a weekend. I did and am going to both DC shows. I had my fill of the loudmouths in Vancouver this past April, but not even a few idiots will keep me from catching a couple shows on this go round. The idiot quotient was well documented in April posts . I was hoping that the problem would disappear. Sadly, it's more likely to snow in D.C. on August 16th and 17th

    sooooo according to your theory... let's see here, let's do the math.

    eddie has 14 shows on this tour...
    so if you had your way he would only play on friday and saturday nights...
    so that is 2 shows a week...
    so 14/2 = 7...
    so that mean a 14 show tour would last a total of 7 weeks...

    so this leaves eddie with 2 options...

    A) He actually only does play only on friday and saturdays which has a couple side effects/results...
    1-he stays away from his home in seattle for 7 weeks in order to play 14 shows.
    2-he actually flies back and forth from seattle to the east coast once a week(which means he would be playing 2 days and traveling by plane 2 days, which means he would be home on the west coast 3 days a week in order to play 2 shows a week on the east coast). oh yeah... and what to do with all the trucks and equipment and touring crew, not to mention liam and EJ which is in all the way from australia. guess they are supposed to just hang around and wait on ed while they are thousands and thousands of miles from home.

    and then there is option B) Ed plays during the weekdays and gets the 14 shows done in 3 weeks.

    hmmmm... i wonder which one makes the most sense? i saw ed 3 times on the april fools tour. twice here in LA and SD2. and guess what... LA2 was on a sunday night... and guess what, i had to get up early and fight that wonderful orange county traffic to go to work that next morning. and i was totally thankful the entire time.

    ed doesn't owe you, me, or anyone else anything. pearl jam has done nothing but give, give, give to the fans over the years and we should all be thnakful for it.

    i don't think you're spent on PJ, i think you just need to stay home on the weekdays and make sure and get your 8 hours of sleep every night.

    sorry that you couldn't enjoy a wonderful show that hundreds of thousands of others around the world would have loved to been at. what a shame, what a shame...

    I actually took some white-out and replaced the "MONDAY" on my ticket with "SATURDAY" but Eddie Fucking Vedder had the nerve to play his show on a Monday night anyway!!

    I can't believe how little he cares about me and my personal schedule and desires. The audacity! I am a Hawaiian millionaire. I don't have a job. He should be catering to my every whim. I want an ice cream sundae now with nuts and whip cream and I expect Eddie to deliver it to me in 15 minutes with a singing chimpanzee to spoon the ice cream into my mouth.

    And if he doesn't, he must clearly hate all PJ fans everywhere.

    somebody had a bad night ! i think this poor guy/lady got dumped tonight or something.

    who cares what day the show is on? I work - I'll live. In fact, I think this was a great way to start my week :) the crowd wasn't so bad - most screaming happened between songs. it was an amazing show - i really couldn't be happier.

    oh and since your so disappointed with tonights performance, i'll gladly take your ticket for tomorrow's show - i won't even charge you to take it off your hands ;)

    one more thing: if ed didn't care about the fans, he wouldn't tour at all.

    I think playing on a Monday night is a good idea...cause if you were a big fan you'd pull all strings to go to the show, regardless of work the next day...therefore leaving the inconsiderate, loudmouthed fans (who werent big enough fans to give up work) at home where they belong.

    Filter them out.

    The first section about the drunks and the getting up for drinks, the yelling out shit like it's a PJ show would be annoying.. I mean the drunks at a PJ show is just as annoying but who only plays shows on weekends? It can't work like that otherwise it would take him 6 months to play a mini tour.
