Hartford GA had space.....a lot

Anyone notice the floor space open on the Hartford floor? Brooklyn and Philly were pretty much full. I don't know if this was Hartford or PJ just underselling. It also wasn't because people didn't show up.....we are talking about a few hundred.

    I was envying all that GA space from my near rooftop seats.

    agreed. I figure there were 20ish people who got screwed and couldnt make it. Looked like 200 to 300 could fit in there...

    Yea def.....more fan clubbers would have died to have those seats especially that night.

    Was thinking the same thing....I was on 115, right on wing and you could tell how much space there was. Didnt seem to smushed up close, just seems like they undersold amount of GA tickets

    It is possible that Brooklyn and Philly had too many people in it. In other words 10c started a new policy with Hartford that you can only have one GA wristband on and all other ones would be removed.

    I'm assuming people had one of each color on and were able to access GA to shows they should not be able to.

    It really did i had plenty of open space to move freely all about , i've never been in a GA like last night very mellow vibe to it ..

    They were selling GA's at the window last night!!! I was offered (at the will call window when I inquired) a single in 115 or GA's. Turned them down bc we were happy with what we had, and even happier with what we ended up with! :)

    I have only been to two shows Wooster 2 and Hartford, both GA. both were similar in this regard. Must say I liked this as I moved toward the back after 1st encore for some elbow room.

    I definitely think it had a lot to do with this. I witnessed a group of 3 guys sharing two GA tickets and wristbands last night. At Brooklyn 1 security was definitely uber lax about letting people into the pit, from my stratosphere seats for Brooklyn 2 it looked that that pit was way more crowded than the previous night. I bore no witness to Philly, but when you add in the 10c's revised wrist band policy it seems like there was an issue with previous pits being over capacity.

    I am watching pj20 right now to ease out of the post PJ live depression syndrome and I was just thinking that Roskilde probably had something to do with the extra space.

    Roskilde had plenty of space in the back... the FAR FAR back. The issue is they didn't have dividing barriers in the middle to break up the crowd. And the speakers were crap because of the rain so everyone was trying to get closer. I wasn't there but that's what I read.

    Having extra GA space I'm sure is 100% intentional for this tour, because of Roskilde. That was probably the only condition they are allowing a pit.

    How is this possible?..Since the ten club said all ga tickets are fan club tickets... :nono:

    I thought the pit was just bigger in Hartford. Probably same amount of people in a bigger space. Brooklyn and philly I though were about 1/3 of the floor while Hartford was closer to half

    We were in the Floor 4, and envying those who were in the GA. I did not "apply" for the GA in the lottery because I thought it would be hard on my recovering broken ankle. But it would have been much nicer in the roomy GA area than being in the floor when I had to stand on my toes just to get a glimpse of the band here and there.

    Regardless, great show!!!

    There was a post on every door at the LX Center about the wrist band that only the wrist band designated for the show would be honored. It may affect the feel of the shows, but considering what happened, I understand. :fp:

    Was a bit nervous how GA would be in Hartford but it was great! No pushing, just lots of dancing and singing! Wonderful! Lots of room indeed....

    Maybe some 10c members had to cancel and notified 10c they couldn't make it so they were resold at the door.
