    I don't know. It's pretty dangerous to perform a complicated song live for the first time on national television, but I'd love to see it.

    It's not live on national tv. It's live for the studio audience. But, if they f it up, they can just perform another song that gets shown tonight. They are not staying up until 1 AM performing before Hartford.

    If it's true, it's totally shocking! To save a song, the first track off their Lightning Bolt record that rocks, that's never been played live yet just to save it & play it "exclusively" for a TV show after just playing 8 show's supporting the record? :|

    first they were saving it for brooklyn, then they were saving it for fallon. what will they be saving it for when fallon airs? :lol:

    Yeah, I don't really get why people think they are saving it for Fallon. It would be great if they finally played it live, but I don't see why they would save it specifically for Fallon. Unless it's the next single....

    I think they will play the last released single Sirens, and the new, yet to be announced single, Getaway, on Fallon. :idea:

    Getaway will be the next single, and it will be introduced on Fallon (either tonight or tomorrow). There was even a snipet on his site saying "Pearl Jam will be debuting new music from their new alubm Lightning Bolt".

    I take this as a song that has not been played yet...and it's sure as hell not going to be "Sleeping By Myself"

    You misunderstand me. They would be performing it live in front of an audience for the first time. I don't think they would mess around in that situation. I did not mean to suggest that the show airs live.

    Am i the only person who doesnt like jimmy fallon? I think his commercials are dumb. I havent found him interesting or funny either. Do i need to watch more or is he just that bad?

    I'd like to know what's so complicated about getaway. Sure the lyrics are fast and a few lines don't repeat. But damn, why do people think ed can't handle this song live?
