  • I call this Pearl Jam's "Hard Sun" ;)

Great tune, it has a very earthy vibe to it
Yeah i thought of ITW right away
  • I want this song to be a show opener... BADLY.. I just can't get over this tune.. Aside from it being my fav thus far, it really does have an opener quality though. I think it would be killer to open a show with this.

After initially not liking this song on first couple listens; one week later and I think this would be a great opener!
  • I must be in the minority here, but I think it's the weakest track on the record (aside from SBM). Even after seeing it live... I still don't vibe with it. Maybe it'll grow...
...makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

Also my favorite merch shirt as well.

    Bryan Adams song, really?

Didn't think this song could get any better...

Driving home last night, long stretch of road, clear sky & the moon out ahead of me
Yellow Moon comes on, off to the moon I go.

This will be amazing live in an outdoor venue.

Unbelievable song...will be a classic opener some day for sure. Sounds like it could have been off the Into the Wild soundtrack...loved hearing it last night in Philly. For once I'm praying for a repeat on night 2!

In my top one, and that's saying a lot since there are so many LB songs I really, really like.
Haunting lyrics, slow build reminds me a little of Hard to Imagine - if there was such a thing as a perfect song, this would be right up there for me

Too bad for you that this album is full of great solos.

    Yeah! Love the solos!

How can one not love a great solo?? :?

I just find solos cheesy I've never liked them, prefer what kurt or sonic youth do in such a section

Its such a strange album, if it was an EP probably the best EP ever made. This song is on another level along with half the album, really great stuff.

Yeah, its been creeping up on me lately too until today when I whipped open the lyric sheet and saw this:

    "Moon changing shape and shade"
" As we all do, under its gaze"

And now I am all in. Hook, line and sinker!!!!!

The very beginning of Yellow Moon sounds so similar to the great Queen's 'She Makes Me'.. Has anyone else noticed this? Regardless, this song to me is AWESOME. Looooove this song!! Love this record!!!
