The sound in an MA arena in October will be 1000x better than in a baseball stadium in August.

I say the likely candidates are the usual

Phish, Bruce, DMB and Bugget. Throw in the Kenny Chesneys etc and is say PJ is not likely.

I much prefer smaller shows though but if there is one more big show that play in a stadium is want it in Fenway.

Well, I'm always willing to be disappointed! :D This remains the dream show I most want to see happen. There was a time when I believed this was likely to happen. Today I believe it is likely not to happen...but the dream lives on nonetheless!!!

20 years after the Boston Garden shows...Fenway.

If the band is playing there in August it only confirms the forecast will call for rain when PJ plays.

I know someone on the grounds-crew at Fenway and he knows someone in the front office...Neither of them have heard any confirmation on anything.

terrible place to see a show unless youre on the field. that's the only area with decent sound and it isn't even that great. would still go, but almost anywhere else they play in the area would be better.

I don't think Puritanical Boston would let any band blow through curfew the way Chicago did. Hope I'm wrong though...

You know how when you hear a really great joke... how funny it is and how much it makes you laugh?
    ...
Then... the second time you hear it. Not so great, right?
    ...
Same thing here... please, don't play at another ball park. Tell the great joke... then, end the set and walk off stage.
    ...
Maybe, 20 years from now... yeah, that'll probably work.
