In my humble opinion: Best. Concert. Ever.

Liam Finn was great. Aside from Eddie being a great musician, he is also a comedian. He was in a great mood, bantering back and forth with the hecklers in the crowd. Played a great selection of new and old, and some twists on some classics, and some cool improvs.

Just a fabulous, fabulous show. Not sure how he's gonna top it on Wednesday night!

Man that was surreal. I still have goose bumps from that show. The whole show was like a dream, a dream I never wanted to end. I am feeling SO HAPPY and ALIVE. Sorry to sound cheesy but there is no other way of describing the show. God bless you Eddie you are the man. The sincerity you sing with is overwhelming. Can't wait for tmrw.

Very true, but his comment about not being able to play Lukin on the mandolin was priceless.

Posted this in the "eV Wishlist Toronto pre-party" thread, but wanted to spread the word to all those attending the Toronto show this evening and considering the pre-party, as perhaps this might seal the deal for you:

Well, things came down to the wire late yesterday afternoon, but everything worked out well in the end,...

I'm proud/excited to post that Ed has personally donated a SIGNED poster for TONIGHT'S pre-party auction to benefit the White Ribbon Campaign. Ed signed the poster sold at Toronto I with a silver sharpie and the signature is BRILLIANT! The poster was signed at 6:45pm yesterday at Massey Hall and was then handed to me so I can assure you it has been handled VERY carefully. For those attending tonight's pre-party, get there EARLY and make sure to place your bid for the BEAUTIFUL poster to help a VERY worthwhile cause!

    :D

  • It was my first EV/PJ show last night and as I walked out I said to my friend (a PJ veteran), "I could see this guy again." My friend said, "Good thing you bought those seats for tomorrow's show." LOL!!!
