Yeah. I wonder what the intentions of these posters are for though? Did they start out as something to tack on your wall in your dorm or garage, and we've now framed them for our houses and are expecting some amazing art piece?

I'll be happy to take any of the Wrigley posters of anyone's hands that doesn't want to hang them :)

Not too ugly for me!

  • The posters are my second favorite souvenir behind the boots and just ahead of the tickets stubs. I hope someday to have every poster from every show hanging in my home office. Sadly I will always be missing two...Greensboro & Charlotte, 2000. There were no posters made for either show. Together they are a large hole in my collection.

I'll just never get over it...

I also collect posters as a souvenir. Fortunately (actually... unfortunately), I haven't attended the number of shows that others have, so I don't a crazy number of posters, but I have enough to make my friends think I'm crazy. There were definitely a few posters that I questioned purchasing at the time, and I still wonder why I bothered to, but for the most post, I love my posters and it's cool to have a poster for the specific show you attended.

    I agree. Absolutely gorgeous!
  • Quick question about posters. I want to buy one at the Portland show I'm going too but I am in GA and won't be able to protect it. Do you think they make enough to wait till after the show to buy one?

Hope you have FUN in Portland!!
If the merch situation is like all the other shows I've been to lately, they will sell out of posters at the venue & they will most likely be gone before the show starts!!
However, they have been selling merch outside the venues before the shows around the same time as 10 Club ticket pick-up!
This gives you a chance to pick up a poster or T-shirt and take it back to your car or hotel room before the show.
If you miss the poster at the show, Ten Club usually has a limited number of posters here in the shop, but if the poster is good or by a hot artist, they can go pretty quickly too.
You can also find out if they are going to allow poster tubes...usually if they are selling them at the venue, you can bring one of your own in with you!!
    Hope that helps!!

I love the EV Seattle one. might be my favorite of all. someday I'll be able to find an affordable one somewhere.

I enjoy most of munk one's stuff...really like the orlando 2 alligator as well. Bought the Amsterdam 2 poster as I wanted something to remember the night with, but I doubt that one's going up anytime soon...I don't have enough wall space as it is.

I collect posters for all the shows I have been to. Plus I have been tantalized into buying a number of others.
It is a cool collection.... But I really need to get to hanging them more regularly.

I have all the shows I have been to with the exception of Boston I 2004. Havent pulled the trigger on that one yet.

Ideally I would like to frame the posters for each show I have been to. They look good on the walls and have received approval from the wife

I also have Amsterdam 2 and I think it isn't too bad. It's one of the nicest ones of the shows I went to (apart from the U2/Pearl Jam one in Hawaii, 2006). Which might say a lot about the beauty of certain posters. It's the only one I felt worthwhile to buy (the U2/Pearl Jam one unfortunately sold out before I could get one).

I mean, Amsterdam 1 was even worse. :(

I think Amsterdam I is better than II, II was almost a keeper until they put the Dutch Boy's face on there, one of the ugliest faces ever put on any poster, to the point where it is repulsive and not something to be shown off, unless you got pictures of Leather Face from Texas Chainsaw Massacre up around your house
