Anyone else think this would be a cool vinyl release? Never understood why it was cd-only release.

This may have kept the Queen Anne store open for a few more years. Bring on the vinyl as an Easy Street and 10C exclusive!

I think this was mentioned as not out of the question a few years back. It was either Kelly Curtis or the Easy Stret owner.

I don't think they would do it now though. Too late.

But they should release the whole thing. The CD was only a few tracks from the perfomance right?

Yes please. And if they do release it on vinyl, I hope it's a picture disc with BK's design. :)

In the "Please Pearl Jam, consider a VINYL Benny Hall re-issue!" thread I suggested that they could combine Benaroya and the full Easy Street set as part of the box set release series. It makes sense chronologically and would fit in with 2 albums per release option.

    No Code / Yield 1996-1998
    Binaural / Riot Act 2000-2002
Benaroya / Live At Easy Street 2004-2006

They're both seen by many of us as important releases, plus they always re-issue the vinyls on their own at the same time as the box sets. I also think it would be a cool way to end the box sets as they said they won't be doing it for Avocado or Backspacer.

If you remember back in 2008 when the reissue campaign was announced, it was stated they are only reissuing the Sony Pearl Jam catalog. Since ST was on Clive Davis's label, it would be up to them on if they reissue it.

I think there is a boot of this, maybe on pearljambootlegs.org. I'm sure I have it, though have never listened to the full show.

But yeah releasing the whole show would be cool.
This would make a great record store day release!

You'd think it would be an obvious RSD release for them!! Maybe next year!

I agree, and there have been countless obvious RSD releases for them. or just fan club. and never happened. I'm not a vinyl guy so much, but it just seems to odd to me that the band who wrote STBC and are such vinyl nuts in general don't put out more of it. I mean, the Foo Fighters have (or had) recently their entire vinyl catalogue available for purchase on their website. How many generic rock fans collect vinyl?

the vault releases should all be vinyl. no question. no brainer to me.

Totally agree. If they were worried about having stock left over (and let's face it with PJ vinyl that won't happen) they could have made to order. Do a month long pre-order say, get the final numbers and that's how many copies get made.

They really should look into this.

Always surprising for band that loves vinyl so much, they do so little with it.

It's very surprising they don't try and do something like Third Man Records with the vinyl each month or quarter is it? Maybe its the effort, maybe they can't be bothered and its easier to produce endless shirts, or stickers and dog collars. Then again it became too difficult to get the Xmas '45 out for Xmas :lol::lol:

It would be great if they did something like third man. No way they could get 4 packages out a year though.

I'm looking forward to Vault #16, and I bet Vault #17 will be killer now that they brought everything in house.

    It's quarterly.

The demand for a similar release from PJ would make the lead times practically unbearable. Just a guess, but I think there would be 5x the demand. 3rd Man is practically doing the pressing in house, which I think is a must for them keeping the quarterly thing going. I don't think it's feasible for a band the size of PJ to do something like The Vault.

I'd rather PJ gets their normal releases sounding as good as they can before they branch out and do other stuff on vinyl. Backspacer sounds awful and you can't find reasonably priced stuff and I'd think it's embarrassing for a band that's championed vinyl for so long.
