Stubhub/ticket resale

So I bought New York Rangers Season tickets (Go Rangers) this year thinking I was moving to NYC. Long story short my job kept me out in Colorado (thank god) I have been selling them online at FV and trying to make my money back. What I have noticed is that a few days before the show people start freaking out and dropping the price drastically, sometimes half off. So what I am saying, if you didn't win tickets (I am among the angry) Just wait until the last possible second to buy tickets off of the resale sites and you will almost definitely score a great deal, sometimes drastically lower than face value. I am personally going to do that and hopefully score a last minute deal. The less people who buy right away the faster ticket prices will drop.

Disclaimer: It is not my fault if you don't score tickets, this is just a suggestion for those who want to go but don't want bust the bank account.

that why I love stubhub. Hell on St Paddys day last week the Dbacks Dodger game was sold out. Lawn tix at $26 a pop (Normally $8) 3 days before the game. 5 hours before game time, lawn tickets are going for $5. Good for me. I've never paid above face on stubhub. That being said, PJ at Wrigley is a one time only event so I wouldn't expect tickets at or below face, but lower than now for sure
