    I've seen it before in TEnclub, but never realised it was Tenclub only.. i guess i had it confused with other shows on DVD....

    and a fucking massive Grrr that now realising this i didn't order it along wit hthe gorge box, the stickers and the 10 Club t-shirt i got :( :(:( :(:( :(

    surfing - yea, i had heaps of fun at it! i knew itd be hard, just never realised how battered id get - skin off knees, board rash under my arms, bruises - but hey it was all good. i got a few photos taken, but well see if they turn out and ill pop a few up here. and boards for the boys - jason could stand, but wasnt that keen, prefered bodyboarding - riley loved it, and like i said, was a complete natural - the instructor actually had to keep stopping him from heading right out to the bigger breaks. he'll be on a board again without a doubt, but south coast (ulladulla, batemans) is a good 3, 4 hours for us. we'll be borrowing boards me thinks.

    and redbacks - they should all be exterminated. mean little shits.
    LMAO! Sorry, I'm not laughing at you....your story just reminds me of when I was a kid....I permanently had a rash all over my stomach and upper arms. All I had growing up was 'foamies'. Looking back, although unaware then....I wasn't a help to our environment, with the amount of foam surf boards I went through....was always snapping them in half :eek:

    I got my Showbox DVD from a record shop over here when it first came out, so I'm sure a record store could get it in. You should ask Zig if they can get it.

    Foamies - gold. Why the heck did it ever take them so long to invent rash vest? The rash around your neck from your wetty didnt help either. Were you surfing Margaret River?? - is that why you kept snapping them?

    Im getting confused with all this boxset talk. This Gorge thing is just a pack yeah? So if you had the Gorge boots then the only advantage of buying this new offer would be either collectors stuff or a few new cd covers - correct??

    Mag's....no. Did have a go at Smiths beach in Yallingup once (was only about 11-12?) and got caught in a rip....scared the darkies outta me!
    I grew up in Fremantle, so was mostly just the beaches up that way, unless we headed further down South for family holidays. We did used to go to this wicked beach (that no-body seemed to know about) called Stinky Bay. I don't know why it was called that, because it was the most beautiful beach. It was kind of in between Margaret River and Augusta.
    Have you surfed Margaret River....?

    Never done Mags - dont have the balls (or skill) like I used to. Surfed Ullawatu and Grajagan about 12-15ft - end up with reef rash and on antibiotics for several weeks but worth it. Done Bells and Queenscliff bomie (Manly) about 10-12.

    Lucky to get me out in anything over about 6 these days.

    LOL!!! I'm with ya there. It's so different when you're a kid - NO FEAR!!!! When you get older you find out that you can break and it's no fun. I agree about Margaret River.....way too scarey for me....and those reafs there - OUCH!! I love watching people surf there though.
    Reef Rash! BLEK! Nasty business if it gets bad....best to go to the straight penacillin for that. My sis-in-law is married to a guy, who was the Balinese surf champion for about 5 years running and I've seen some really gross reef injuries on him, when I've been over there. Now Bali is 1 place you don't want those kinds of wounds! He just used to come home and Sharon (SIL) would have this huge bottle of peroxide that she'd pour straight into all the cuts on him. He'd just be standing there screaming with all of the peroxide just frothing up.
    Nah....I'm the first to admit, I've never been one to surf to be able to say I've done something amazing or surfed the biggest waves.....it was just something that everyone did where I grew up - just seemed the norm.....surfed for the fun of it.

    Me too. I've already got The Gorge 2005 boot anyway. I'm going to save my money for the 7 Worlds Collide DVD and then the 2006 Worldwide Tour DVD. ;)

    So Crowded House are re-forming and going to headline the Live Earth show in Sydney, huh? Maybe because Ed loves Neil so much, he'll come over to sing with him again? :)

    Awwwww! You guys :) I've just been going back to try and catch up on some of the bazillion pages I've missed while not here and I've just hit the pages when we were fighting bushfires here in Dwellingup. Thanks for making me cry :eek: .... Idid get some PM's from some of you at the time, that really gave me strength and now reading back on the posts, you can't know how much it means to me.....I love you all so much!!! Geez....now I sound like a drunk LOL! Nah...just couldn't let it go un-noticed. Ta all :D

    I think the Ben Harper thing was Triple J contest for about 200 ppl or something...Threefish10 may know more about this.....

    Didn't know bout the mystery poster sale...would've gone for that. You're a darl, offering me your poster if it's a Perth ....but I guarentee you'll like it if it is. It was an awesome poster - underwater diver opening a record player and the words Pearl Jam and Nov 25 written in coral. Unreal colours!

    Its does have an extra track that wasnt on the boots....
