This lottery was as fair as the previous system...

....without the big time investment.

With the overloaded servers and the need to be at a computer trying to buy tickets the minute they were available, people with low seniority numbers could still have gotten shut out of tickets due to their computer crashing, not being able to get through and a myriad, of other reasons.

Just because it seems like people with low numbers didn't get in doesn't mean they would have anyways with the old system.

At worst, it was just as fair without the big hassle.

(Full Disclosure: I did get tickets, but would feel the same either way)
The only people we should try to get even with...

Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.

    I agree. Plus there has to be like 15,000-20,000 seats for the public sale anyway for Chicago. Its a baseball stadium not a hockey rink.
