yes agree they will be lose to every team you deem to be good or decent on their schedule.  to bad we haven't been in a division that has had 3 totally shitty teams for 15 years.
Too bad the eagles were one of three shitty teams in the NFC East the past 15 years. You still have to play the other division teams to get to the Super Bowl  9 times in those 15 years though, right?
    Huh?
The ‘skins haven’t been relevant since the 80s, the cowboys since the 90s and the giants were a for a few years here and there since 2001. Seems the division was ripe for a team to dominate, yes? Yet nobody did. Can’t fault the pats for the other three teams’ mediocrity and furthermore, if it’s such a crap division, then the pats would be “soft,” and be one and done, right? Instead, 9 AFC championships and 6-3 in Super Bowls. Not to shabby. Since 2001, how many Super Bowls appearances between NFC East teams?
You should know since your 1 and 3 against the NFC’s east and that one you cheated

Don't know the answer,  but the 3 SB loses were from teams from what Division?

6-3 at the bye then they lose two in a row and everyone is ready to write them off.....Then:
They run the table to finish 11-5, win the division, get home field, beat the Saints at the Linc for the NFC Championship and then beat ol' Andy in Miami for their second SB in 3 years.

I'm stoked to watch ball this weekend.
I hope the doubleheader is an AFC team rather than the fucking Cowgirls and Giants.

No need to know the back up QB’s name. If and when he gets a start or a snap, I might learn it. It could be Vince wilfork or tedy B and pats still roll. Go #4.

uh oh i pretty much agree with you on this.  that can't be good.  anyway I agree on 11-5 and my initial thought was 2-2 to start as well.  I actually think they are going to smoke the Skins on Sunday.  I think they come out on fire on offense.  38-13.  too many weapons.   Playoffs are a crap shoot and one play can change everything but this team definitely has as good as shot as the season starts as any Eagles team in my lifetime.  I love where this team is right now.

General NFL season thoughts.  Brady and Brees are due to get hurt.  I expect the Bears, Vikings and Rams to take steps back.  Bears especially. I think Bears are highly overrated if Trubisky doesn't make a big leap this year.   AFC sucks and is pretty much the Pats and Chiefs.  Cowboys over paying for Elliott is as dumb as the Giants taking a running back with the 2nd pick in the draft last year.  dumb asses.

Cheated? How, did Brady spike McNabb's Chunky Soup so he puked on the field? You need to get over the false narrative that you were cheated out of that Super Bowl. You really sound like a sore loser, even a sore winner 2 years ago.

so Pats fans come into an Eagles thread to talk shit and i respond and somehow I'm a sore winner now?  Patriots fans logic i guess. and if i was a sore winner i would have been in the Pats thread for a full year after we beat you with a backup QB but alas no that didn't happen.  but thanks for joining our discussion here though.

People will indeed shit if the are 6-5.

I'm stoked to watch ball this weekend.
I hope the doubleheader is an AFC team rather than the fucking Cowgirls and Giants.
it will be Cowboys-Giants. the other 4 pm games this week blow.  some good 1 pm games.

yes agree they will be lose to every team you deem to be good or decent on their schedule.  to bad we haven't been in a division that has had 3 totally shitty teams for 15 years.
You failed to answer my question of how your Eagles were supposedly cheated out of Super Bowl 39.
    This weekend we rock Portland

    ANYWAY....

I was just looking at the schedule and stuff. Here's my quick prediction:
2-2 to start. I think they look a little rusty on Sunday but luckily it's the fucking Redskins.
6-3 at the bye then they lose two in a row and everyone is ready to write them off.....Then:
They run the table to finish 11-5, win the division, get home field, beat the Saints at the Linc for the NFC Championship and then beat ol' Andy in Miami for their second SB in 3 years.

    DYNASTY. GET USED TO IT.

    GO BIRDS.
uh oh i pretty much agree with you on this.  that can't be good.  anyway I agree on 11-5 and my initial thought was 2-2 to start as well.

Cowboys over paying for Elliott is as dumb as the Giants taking a running back with the 2nd pick in the draft last year.  dumb asses.
I have not been this excited since '04. And I think this is the most complete team they've had since 2004 also. Stating the obvious but so much pressure on Wentz right now. He has to prove he can remain healthy. And he has to play up to his '17 standards. If he does, basically, anything less than a championship game appearance will be disappointing to me.

Really? I have always been, and continue to be, an admirer of their franchise and their sustained success.

It just so happens that I appear to know more about their team than their one "super fan" here does. I also rooted for them last February against the Rams.

I have never claimed to be a “super fan.” You have mislabeled me. I remember Schaefer stadium and Sullivan stadium as a long suffering patriots fan. Now? I can go to my grave knowing I witnessed at least a 20 year span of the greatest NFL franchise in history with the best there ever will be of a QB and coach combination and organization. Enjoy the next 51 years of your one lingering image. Maybe when #4 gets a start, I’ll learn his name. Until then, TB12, is all I need to know. As far as knowing more, that QB controversy is burning hot in New England, right? Might even be a distraction?

My earliest, in person, NFL memories were attending games in that wind tunnel of a fucking stadium.  Fucking high school bench seating.  Wearing our "hunting" clothes to watch a football game.

Unless you are replacing Brady with another hall of famer that’s not happening. No team in the modern era of the nfl has had a continuous string of success after losing a hall of fame qb without having another hall of famer replacing them. 49ers Montana to Young and Packers Favre to Rodgers. Sustained success doesn’t happen without a great QB. Once Brady is done after injury you will return to mediocrity at best. Enjoy every second of brady while you can.

and enough patriots talk in an eagles thread. Go 🦅
