I said the same thing! That’s like me growing up and idolizing players from the 70’s. I was born in 78. Bunch of nonsense.

    The Giants are TRASH.
Good thing they drafted a running back. Oh that Gettleman and his distain for statistical analysis.
Hey you start with the play makers then you focus on the offensive line. Isn’t that how it’s supposed to work?
we drafted 2 offensive linemen in the first round twice. And they both failed. On one we could have had Todd Gurley
    This dude right?

Pretty sure I saw a comment earlier how if two floaters Wentz made to receivers (due to rushing) that this would be a different game. I think you could pretty much say the same for Eli's career.

ANYWAY, yes, build your line and/or have a QB. That will never change in this sport. And they have neither. BUT they have a running back!

And I will say again - did yous know that Nate fucking Solder is the highest paid LT in the league?

Semi-related: Peters may be cooked. Vaitai starts the rest of the way.
Eli's had mostly bad luck with tipped passes or passes bouncing off of receivers hands.

Hey but there’ll be an old school football game on the TV, remember that device?,Sunday night. Unless of course you’re at Fenway. Pats run the ball 40 times against KC. And lose.

Obviously not when Barry was playing, don't think Saquon was even born then, but i'm sure he's probably seen footage of him play.

Nice all around solid win albeit it was against the lowly Giants.

Lol it just reminds me. I remember these same arm chair Gms telling me I was fucked for living in south Philly after they signed that guy from the patriots who dropped the super bowl closing interception, and that other guy from the raiders who I have no idea what his name is. Oh and that Demarco Murray guy. Along with about a dozen other free agents. Yeah they were on their way to dynasty’s all those times.

All of a sudden these are the guys saying the giants are dumb for drafting the best player on the field tonight and acting like they weren’t talking shit about he wentz pick.

Your gm can make you guys act awfully smart
Wentz was the best player on the field. He's a stud QB.  Barkley is great but he is a running back in a passing league.  Barry Sanders yes...and Barry Sanders didn't win shit.

yea but he's our stud turd nugget.

Barkley is great but the running back position is largely irrelevant today and their careers are too short to take with the 2nd pick.

OBJ is not close to as good as he thinks he is.

What the hell was Aikman and Buck talking about when they were saying the Giants were still in the division race early in the game? that team blows. they won 3 games last year and all of a sudden they expect them to compete for the division? only the Browns have won less games in the last season and 6 games this year.  they have very little talent outside of Barkley and OBJ. their defense is average at best at every position.

Is Jason Peters done?  I know he is banged up but man he has not looked very good.

and Ertz is a stud.  he doesn't get enough appreciation around here.

But he probably would've thrown two or three picks to go along with losing a fumble earlier and the game wouldn't have come down to the last play...

How do you not shadow McCaffrey on those last couple drives? Make Cam throw down the field and I'll take my chances. Too many easy dumps offs to him.

the 1st down pass after the interference call was the worse pass Wentz has thrown in 3 years. Love Wentz but he choked on the last drive

defense gave up 3 touchdowns in about 8 minutes. just awful.

for all the bitching about not wasting clock they did kill almost 6 minutes over the 2 drives before giving up the lead.

i guess Carolina zipped down the field 3x with almost exclusively pass plays because they established the run in the 1st quarter :confounded:

Division is coming down to the 4 games against Cowboys and Skins.  And they will pick up a game next week with a win after the Skins lose to the Giants next week.
