You have to pick up the tixx at Wlll Call with your ID - it'll be hard to scalp them.
    Oh really? Damn it.
It said show starts at 8:30 (I know, grain of salt) - maybe it won't be that late. It's probably not a 2 1/2 hour setlist in that kind of venue. Only 250 people - probably not a s-show leaving (I've never been to Johnny Brenda's so, who knows).

I haven't been to Johnny Brenda's in over five years. Cool venue. Only thing that sucks is kinda hard to find parking around there if you're driving.

JP would you eat at JB's or at one of the huge amounts of surrounding restaurants? (I am obsessed with Fette Sau)
Yeah I mean their food ain't bad, depends on what you're looking for but there's plenty of choices up there. Surayas a good one, if something opens up at Laser Wolf definitely hit that up.

Best overall game played in all 3 phases? (Except the penalties)I think so. Hell, Covey actually had some decent Returns.

Really impressed with the Birds D today. (Held Henry to 30 yards)

    The O wasn't too shabby either>HA

Yeah that’s the game I’ve been waiting for. Derrick Henry Derrick Schmenry.

    Swoop swallowed Mrs FMe

We were on the field, right next to two losers (but great players) in Henry and Woods
Woods gave me the fight on ✌️ and said hello, since I was wearing my SC hat

Also, very impressive victory for your Birds.  That is a good team they slapped around.

Awesome that you got to go on the field! But I have to say that I hate Swoop. Always have. Such an inferior mascot to the green guy across the street.

This has to be the most balanced team we've ever had. Even more so than in '17. And Sirianni and Steichen do such a great job of taking advantage of whatever the defense gives them. We can beat teams with a heavy dose of passing. We will happily grind out games on the ground if need be. And we can do both. Obviously today dictated pass. I love it.

Defense did great stopping Henry. Even special teams played well. Best win of the season.

Swoop is fine. You can only have one Philly Phanatic. And Gritty is a helluva second mascot here. We are certainly mascot central USA.

Eliza from WOD said on The Ricky Jordan Mailata should quit football and become a singer. Hope he doesn’t listen!

Swoop is ok.  Sure, he finishes behind the fearsome duo of Gritty and Phanatic, but he is better than many team mascots.  (As far as such things go)

My favorite teams all have worse ones.

My dream of 49ers visiting for NFC championship game took a big hit.  Still possible but inexperienced qb play is never a good thing.  If we had Hurts we would be unstoppable!  ;)

Basically this year - that was about 5-10 minutes of the podcast.

Haha.  I forgot who the Hawk even was.  Nobody outside this area would quickly know what that is.
Gritty is a psychotic sort of figure but one that quickly won national attention.
He is better than Flyers hockey right now.

Nice. Just listened to some of it. I guess I just assumed she was one of the members of that band who did back up vocals on I Don't Live Here Anymore....

No that was Lucious (sp?) - Eliza plays keys I think. In January it kinda sounded like the Lucious part of that song was played as a pre-recording. (okay that sounds conspiratorial, just the impression I got)

Correct. But also my hot take here is - the Flyers will never be as popular as their mascot.

They were massive in SW Philly in the 80s. Nobody liked Brian Propp though. To paraphrase Buddy Ryan, all he did was score goals.

They were popular in the 90's as well with the Legion of Doom line (Lindros, LeClair and Renberg) and made it to the finals once.

Great win yesterday, very dominant. As Cutz pointed out aside from the offside penalties almost a perfect win.
