Roethlisberger is 8-0 in his career against the Browns. Just a little reminder of how inferior your team is.

  • I completely lost my mind on this fat bitch in front of me right before the start of encore one. I was in Mezz I, right center. Would not shut her face for the entire night. She must've yelled, "wooooooooooo marry me Eddie!" 50 times. Finally, she busts out a fucking GLOW STICK. I will refrain from redeclaring the flow of vulgarities i launched at this cow, but I laid into her as much as I have have anyone. She was waving the glowstick around while Eddie was talking about Thomas before No More saying "I LOVE YOU EDDDIE!". Totally appropriate timing there. It was a total nightmare.
  • Welcome here! And yeah, the people who yell pisses pretty much everyone off.

Last night was soooo much better. I could tell it was going to be- the crowd just seemed more mature and cool. And eddie was smart to say right off the bat he wasn't going to put up with it. I loved later on when he talked about the science of the theater changing everything people say to "I'm an idiot" by the time it gets to the stage.

Funny story though, I had just arrived at the theater and was standing in the lobby when this woman walks in, looking a little sloppy, and goes "WWOOOOOOOO" in the lobby. It was a little weird. So after Liam's set I go down to the ladies' room and this same woman is just STUMBLING down the stairs and she asks me the way to the ladies'. I'm like oh god this woman is going to be trouble. So in the ladies' room, she starts yelling "WOOOOOO!!! EDDDDDIIIIEEEE" and this girl goes "um...please don't like...yell that in the show..." and the woman goes "oh no honey I'm getting it out of my system now!" and everyone in the bathroom was like "yes! that's right! get it out of your system!!" it was pretty funny. No trouble from her during the show!

  • I just want to put in my thoughts about how good the crowd was last night. It was the polar opposite of friday night. Sure there were still a few guys yelling stuff, here and there, but it was 50x less. Ed was a lot more up front about it which helped, but also the crowd kept everyone else in control. Everytime someone yelled something the crowd would "shhh" them, or say something to the person and it pretty much stopped. I think there was almost a fight in the ORCH Right section around the 3rd song. Some asshole yelled something, then there was a bunch of commotion with the whole section starting to yell "Throw him out" at the security guards. There was almost no screaming at the quieter part in songs which was constant the night before. There was still the normal cheering / yelling during where you'd expect it during I am Mine, Porch, when he says Massachusetts in Millworker etc, which is totally cool.

YOU CANT COMPARE MOE TO PEARL JAM.. PEARL JAM HAS SOLD 50 MILLION RECORDS, THEY ARE ON A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT LEVEL... MOE HAS TO BE THE WAY THEY ARE OR THEY WOULDNT HAVE ANY FANS...

CMON... GIVE ME A BREAK... PEARL JAM WAS VOTED THE GREATEST AMERICAN ROCK BAND EVER AND YOUR COMPARING THEM TO A JAM BAND WHO HAS A FOLLOWING OF 50,000 PEOPLE... ITS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT

i do respect MOE>.. but they are on different levels... and my point is that for the LEVEL PEARL JAM Is on ( which is one of the greatest bands ever) They DO WAY MORE FOR THEIR FANS THEN THEY NEED TO and then any other COMPARABLE BAND.... ie THE WHO U2 i can name all of them... Bruce Springsteen and DAve matthews are prob the only 2 bands that are close to PEARL JAM as far as the fans go but PEARL JAM is better

sorry for taking so long to reply, but i don't get online during the weekend.

anyway....you said "name one band". so i named one. you never said on the same level as pearl jam. you stated nobody in the history of rock has done more for their fans. now you're saying if anyone mentions another band, they have to have sold the same amount of albums as pearl jam, get the same size crowds as pearl jam, come on now. and by the way, even if moe. didn't do all that shit, they'd still have people following them everywhere. know why? because their music is great. plain and simple. i've never come across a fan that's said "i love this band because they do (yadda yadda yadda) for the fans". it's always the same answer when asked why they like moe. the music is great. they don't need to do all that stuff for the fans to survive, they do it because they want to. just like eddie doing solo shows while the band doesn't tour, or taking time out for pictures and shit like that if someone sees him on the street, or bringing someone up from the crowd to hold a lyric sheet during a show. let me say it once again, both bands care about their fans and do what they can for them. imo, moe. does more. are you really hurt so much because i think that way?

look, don't get so upset about it. i just happen to disagree with you. that's all. i was once at the point where you seem to be right now. i loved pearl jam. i couldn't go a day without listening to at least one song by them. i wanted to go to every single show i could get to. i spent all my extra money on buying bootlegs, just so i could have the entire collection (a task i was never able to complete). but i've changed over the past 7-8 years. i don't hate the band, i just don't fit them into my life as much as i used to. sure, i buy the studio albums when they come out. but i'm done with live shows now (unless they play my city, which they've never done since i've been a fan). i had my hardcore experience with pearl jam and it was fun. now, it's more of a casual friendship type of relationship. it was fun while it lasted, and i met some really great people as a result of this band. but i've moved on, and believe me, i'm having a much better time enjoying moe. hell, i'll have to give you an update after moe.down this labor day weekend. i'm really looking forward to seeing fishbone and presidents of the united states of america. first time seeing either of those bands. as far as moe., after the weekend i'll have 54 shows under my belt. not a bad run since labor day weekend 2000.

ok, i'm rambling. hope you understand where i'm coming from. oh, and one more thing: i don't know the exact number, but i'm positive moe. has more than just 50,000 fans.

I did not read any other messages on this thread
I did not attend the shows.
I do live in Massachusetts and did read all of the local reviews of the show.
Each of them mentioned the obnoxious fans.

For some reason, this really pissed me off, although it did not affect me personally.

Grow up. You are not funny, nor cool or unique. Shouting out songs is stupid. Grow up and stop doing dumb things. Think before you act.
