Small venue tour feasible?

How likely would it be that the band would do a small venue tour? When I say small I mean 2500 to 5000 capacity venues.

I agree it would be extremely hectic but I wouldn't mind seeing them in this type of setting again. A friend of mine works for a local paper, and she is good friends with a concert promoter at a popular small venue who was approached about some possible dates. I just didn't know how likely it would be or maybe it's just an idea being thrown around.

As much as I would love to see PJ in an intimate small venue, I'm afraid it will never happen. :(

(And I wouldn't want to face the stressful situation of trying to secure tickets for such an event either...)

They should do it with tix only available to tenclub members. 2 per member per venue.

I think they will drop a few here and there like they have in the past but not a whole tour..

As much as I'd love it, there really isn't any reason why they would do it. Later on in their careers yes, but right now it wouldn't make much sense.

They'd be leaving too much money on the table. If they did a larger tour, they could do a couple of those shows, like they have in the past, but when they are only doing 10-30 shows a year, it is not feasible. I wish they would do a larger tour (40-60 dates) and then do a few 4-6 night "residencies" in smaller venues in select cities. That could be cool.

When people back in the day starting hating on pj (around the time when who you are was released as their first single from no code) and the band was purposely staying out of the mainstream media before that I predicted when the band members turned 50 they would be playing small venues...For my sake I was hoping this would continue..

Unfortunately there are too many sensable people out there that know good music when they hear it so i dont see this happening now... :D:D

I do agree that if these shows were interspersed during a 40-60 date tour it would be awesome. But at this point in their careers I don't think their decisions are based on money anymore.
