Mix CD of Pearl Jam post Vs - what songs?

Ok ladies and gentlemen, I have been asked to create a mix CD (oh woah is the days of mix tapes!) of Pearl Jam post Vs (the person it is for has Ten and Vs from when they were released, they lost track of the band at that point until having to share an office with me).

So I guess we're looking at a single 700mb/80min CD-R... what songs do I put on it?
I have some I thought of instantly, but thought I would canvass opinion on here, so what would be on your CD?

(and no whole albums, it's got to contain something from each album)....
2009 - Manchester. 2010 - Dublin, Belfast, London, Berlin, Arras, Werchter. 2011 - PJ20 i & ii, Montreal, Toronto i & ii, Ottawa, Hamilton.

    well if I did it, it would be half no-code: Off He Goes, Present Tense, Smile, Habit... but it depends if the person it is for is likely to be more into the slower or heavier songs?
    I don't mean to offend anyone, a lot of what I say should be taken with a grain of salt... that said for most of you I'm a stranger on a computer on the other side of the world, don't give me that sort of power!

    Oh they like rock music, were bit of a goth back in the day, adores Temple of the Dog, Singles etc...

    wha you need to do, is take at least 2 songs of every other album so they can hear the change in styles, so thats what 14 songs, then maybe some lost dogs. its gonna be tough, but if its just a tester then it should be fine.

    if they like heavier stuff maybe thin air then lbc, gohst, come back unthought known all close together is too much...
    And isn't the point to give him new music so Betterman isn't needed

    My "2 off each album plus 1 of each side off Lost Dogs" would probably look like:

    I know there are probably some obscure choices in there, but those are just my favorite songs off each album right now... And putting that list together just made me realize again how many great songs these guys have put out over the years and how hard it is to pick just 2 off each album. Hell, just have the guy/gal listen to the whole catalog goddamnit! :twisted: :)

    Keep your playlists coming, it's interesting to see the different song selections.
    I did an initial think last night using the 2 song per album method, it's not as easy as you think :)
    But some of the songs you guys have chosen weren't on my list, but now I am thinking, oh gosh of course, it makes you think about how many great songs there are.

    Oh and it's for a girl btw, if that makes a difference :lol:

    A bit too hard for me to choose...
    However, here's a thought! When you decide on the tracks, you should consider giving them the CD with live versions of the songs rather than the studio versions. A great way for someone to experience this music is at a concert, the bootlegs are awesome, and you might be able to sway them to come to a concert... After that they will be hooked! :-D
