He played with a ton of people over the years. A truly great guitarist.

    That's too bad. I'm really only familiar with him from his band Montrose, which in spite of being named after Ronnie is more well known for being the band where Sammy Hagar earned his stripes. A band I was in when I was younger had "Make It Last" as one of the covers in our repertoire.
    "See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"
