Unthought Known
One of the things I love most about PJ is how they change up the setlist night in and night out. Even Flow was the only song I would bet that would be played each night. However it seems from looking at their setlists last couple years thay they play Unthought Known almost every night. Any particular reason why? I like this song but not that much

I'll preface this by saying Given to Fly is my absolute favorite song ever, by any band....I put UK on almost the same level as GTF, it's almost that good. If you look at the history GTF was played 68 times in late 97-98 while UK has been played 63 times so far. I think it's just that kind of song. They'll play it like crazy cause it's that good, then let it go for a while, then bring it back and make it one of their "common" songs.2006: Boston I, Camden II

2008: Hartford, Mansfield I & II, EV Boston

There's a really great "build" to the song. Great chance for crowd participation as well.0

Yet the difference between the two is that Given to Fly was released as the first single to Yield and had mainstream success at the time (even though oddly enough, its not a PJ song that is in regular radio rotation today). I may have heard Unthought Known once or twice on the radio, but it was never released as a single.Member Number: 437xxx

Because the "fans" seem to love the most boring songs.0

They used to play Corduroy almost every show, then kind of stopped, but looking @ the recent tours in Canada and Latin America, the have played it almost every show, while they do mix it up every night there are still a small group of songs they play almost every show.[img][/img]9/5/92, 11/20/93, 3/14,15/94, 9/16/95, 10/14,15/2000
