I see a lot of appreciation threads for a lot of good songs...and some not so good...but where is the love for severed hand?

    Got in the car this morning to live Severed Hand on PJ Radio... fucking awesome song. One of my favorites from the self-titled record.

    I think I've heard it at like 5/6 shows. Always a pleasure. :)

    Love it. Love that dive bomb sound Mike has overdubbed over his solo at the end. Too bad they can't recreate that live. One of Mike's best solos.

    Severed Hard blew me away when they played it on SNL in '06 or so. It was before Avocado was released. I had heard World Wide Suicide (1st song played) but not SH. It still amazes me. Sure, a lot of the guitar sounds like that in Porch. But if you're going to copy yourself, you can do worse than copying Porch.

    That is hilarious, I love my waffles severed...and its also a great song.

    Do they teach that type of stuff in culinary school?
