Any East Coasters going? I'm tempted, mostly because Ed will be there but I'm already so so broke.
take it from me, if the whole lineup isn't to your musical taste, i wouldn't spend the money. ed's set will go so fast that you'll think he was a ghost on stage. trust me.
I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.

Absolutely true. There are some other good ones (I haven't seen Foo Fighters since '99), but everyone usually plays 30-40 minute sets. Went to Bridge in '99 and it was insanely awesome... The Who, Tom Waits, PJ, Neil, Geen Day, and more... but only Neil and The Who played close to an hour... actually Brian Wilson did too. PJ played all of 7 songs.

These tickets are going to incredibly hard to get if you're going for seating. If you want lawn, should be easy.
From my experience, the seating is broken up into two price levels: $150 for the closest section (A), and $75 for the second tier (B). A lot of the (A) tickets go to donors, etc., and I've never even sniffed pulling them on ticketmaster in my 4 years of buying Bridge tickets.
Also, Eddie's set will probably be about 30 minutes; if that matters, you should know that before going. This lineup is so incredible as a whole, though, that I don't mind only 30 minutes of Vedder.
Does anyone know what the maximum ticket number is for reserved seats? Some years it's 4, some years it's 2, this year I don't see anything on TM but I know there has to be a limit. I'm trying to get 8 tickets for myself and my friends/family, so if anybody pulls extra reserved seats I'd gladly take them off your hands.

thanks ... i'm going for lawns and sunday only ...
Then last year I got rained on for 2 days....
Ill probably never go back....hehehehehe
that was my 1st time going and let me tell you, sitting for hours and hours on a sloping hill on a half sized lawn chair in the constant rain was not fun at all. And add to that the grp of 50 people in front of us passing around frou frou food (even had one of those fruit bouquets) and the lady with the big ass umbrella in front of me who decides to open it the MINUTE PJ gets on----let's just say I will probably pass this year.
Still glad I got to go, though, and see the wonderful work that Neill and his wife do.
So I'll just lie down and wait for the dream Where I'm not ugly and you're lookin' at me

All the other times I have gone to the Bridge???
Some of the most magical shows I have been to...
Truly MAGICAL shows!!!!
But last year sitting in the rain???
ughhhhh.............
Take me piece by piece..... Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
I'm such an idiot, didn't read that it's a 2 ticket limit for seats so I was searching patiently for the mid-price tier for 4 tickets. 7 minutes later I get an error. BAH. Maybe I'll just get lawn.
With that lineup....
These will be MAGICAL shows......
If it rains on that lawn, like last year....
You will be miserable on that lawn.....
hehehehehehehe
Been to the Bridge 5 years??
Always had a BLAST!!!!!
Magical experience!!!!!

I was there last year and we sucked up to the usher until he let us stand under the lighting rigs out of the rain. Had a great time. I'm waiting for lawn tickets for this year (went through the system already expecting them and got decent seats, so I had to go all the way back and reselect lawn, hahahaha).
EDIT: lawn tickets secured for both days! Looks like I'd better plan on being there.
Do lawn tickets sell out or will I be able to get them if I look for them on TM next week?
i think last year there were lawn seats available a week after they went on sale. not sure if/when they sold out though. but the lineup is different every year so im sure it affects sales
Comments
If you're expecting a full set, you won't get it. Based on last year, I'd go with maybe 45 min max.
I have 2.5 hrs to decide if I'll go this year
Last years flights were cheaper, that might keep me on the sidelines
Ok, good to know. Thanks!

That said, if anyone from Portland wants to rideshare and drink beer on the lawn, let me know!
I also have not been out to the West Coast in awhile so that would be the other impetus.
Decisions, decisions! Appreciate everyone's input

That being said, if anybody got seats they want to sell to me, I need about 4 more. I managed to get 4 this morning.
