Yeah - Night one was the better night. Truth be told, the band and the crowd were exhausted from the night before...just an insane couple of weeks for the guys...

what difference does it make? PJ20, Toronto1 and Toronto2 were all warmup gigs for Ottawa!!!!! ;)

    Come on home boys!!!! :)

We agree to disagree. Night 2 was much much better than the previous night, and for a number of obvious reasons.

    1. The band really ramped it up on Night 2.
    2. The passion and intensity were very much on display Night 2. Night 1 was like the calm setlist before the storm for Night 2.
    3. The setlist really honed in on the best PJ catalog section More Ten, VS, and No Code. AWESOME!!!!!!

We have been to a dozen Pearl Jam shows, going back to 1998, and this by far, last nights show was the best out of all of them.

i gotta agree that night 2 was a better night for me for these reasons: 1. Won lottery and got row 2 seats right in front of jeff. 2. Got a guitar pick from eddie 3.awesome set-list

Toronto sun has a review of night 1. Gave it a perfect score.

I have a hard time getting behind the whole night 2 thing as

    1. It's depressing cuz it's almost over.
    2. Seemed like the floor crowd was more active on night 1
    3. I kind of agree as I too was a little exhausted on night 2

I would take either show any day though. There is NEVER a bad PJ show. Even the RIP party show would have been great!!

Was Garden's style the original or the version they played a bunch in 2006 with percussion lead in vs. Mike's solo lead in?

Night two was much more intense. PJ came out hot and hardly let up at all. And then crowd was way more intense than night one.

The floor crowd seemed more active on night 1 because I wasn't by your side on night 2!

the front row last night really seemed to enjoy JEREMY

    get what I'm saying?? ;)

and yes this is a broad generalization... i'm sure a couple of you don't deserve it... but as a whole... row 1 disappointed me night 2... but i'm nobody so you shouldn't care

i'm sure lack of Hinn was a major factor

True! You could've been if you wanted the ticket!! I think night 1 had more crowd energy but night 2 had a lot more rarities which made it excellent also. Plus the Ed fuck ups were amazing!!

Having been to my fair share of shows, been front/second row a bucketload of times for GA shows, row numbers are never a factor for me, only who's around me! And I was glad to have stumbled upon my old European partner in crime Mega Dave from Italy for night 2 as my surprise ticket buddy to go with Kevin for night 1.

I'm just glad to be in the room, after only making my mind up about coming to Toronto on my way back to IL after PJ20!
