Question about the official PJ iphone app

I never bought this app, I'm thinking about getting it just to be able to see the forums and post this weekend.
Can anyone confirm if the forum/posting does work right now through this app?
It's hard to tell from the reviews whether it works or not.

    You can post on here and view the different forums but you can't see your PMs and it's not really the best app but it does work!

    i have the offical app and the my pearl jam app. my pearl jam has everything the official one does and more (stat tracker, pj radio)
    Small my table, seats just 3, its not crowded, its just lucky me

    I have both as well. I'd definitely go with the 'my pearl jam' app...its a lot better.
