I can't read these lyrics without singing the song! Tremor Christ is GREAT! Just the way he sings it too..so much emotion with it. I can't really imagine anyone 'hating' this song yanno? It's eerie, yet soothing.

Been to Texas on four different occasions. Had a great time and the locals were always awesome.

    Austin
    San Antonio
    Laredo
    Amarillo

Just giving the OP some shit. I have nothing against TX. And always hope you guys get shows when the band tours.

As for 1/2 Full, it's ok, not one of my favorites. Tremor Christ is sick. One of the best on perhaps the best album the band has yet made.

    The lyrics are sick.

I think these have got to be some of Eddie's most poetic and vivid lyrics ever, without even having a really obvious smack-in-your-face meaning. The whole mood of the song, the eeriness, the chilling vocals that crescendo alongside the music in the chorus - everything is just amazing. As well as Eddie's lyrics, the music is great - guitars, bass and drums. All just work so well together and create a really strong atmosphere. And the imagery of the lyrics. I could go on and on...
One of my favourites off Vitalogy. Has so many different meanings too - OP if you go to words&communication (is that what it's called, i forget?) there's a thread about the meanings, and maybe reading different interpretations of the song will help you to be enlightened? Because this song is too good to not like IMO. It's just great.

Secondly... He is totally right... the SOUTH FANS ARE DUDS... When I say that, I dont mean there arent any really big PJ Fans in the south... I know there are a ton of you guys ... but For whatever reason... if you go back and listen to really any SOUTHERN show and compare it to any other Midwest or East Coast show... they sound like the band is playing to a empty arena... there is a major lack of energy in the south for whatever reason... Sorry to tell ya bro...

That's a pretty hefty statement from someone who has never been to a show in the south (based on your signature). I've been to several shows in the south and several on the east coast, so I can say with a bit of credibility that your statement is...well, off-base to say the least.

I didn't get 1/2 full until I saw it live. There it stands with best songs they've done.

And I totally get not getting a song. Slight of hand is the only PJ song I consistantly skip, and yet there's a section of fans that love it.

That said, you're crazy for not digging Tremor Christ!

Fair enough. By the way, we've been to several of the same shows - Boston & Hartford 2006, 2008, and 2010. Hopefully we'll get some more in the south one of these days so I can save on travel expenses.

And yes, Tremor Christ is a brilliant song. I'd also put 1/2 Full in the upper crust of PJ songs. I don't see how you can't dig Mike's shredding on that one. Great live song.
