This whole thing reminds me of last winter when there was a website screw up on Ticketmaster's end getting tickets to a fan club only show for the Tragically Hip in a small Toronto theatre. Even though tickets (about 1000) were only $20 and almost everyone got tickets at the end of the day, due to having to spend about an hour going through the checkout process for about an hour, the band made sure that anyone who tried to get tickets that morning got a $10 gift card for their trouble.
I guess that's what one would expect from a free fan club as opposed to one where it costs $50 a year for something "TBD" apparently...
