VIP parking or Expo Center Pass?

We are two lucky spaniards who got tix for AV. We are now looking how do we manage to arrive from/to Milwaukee. We booked a hotel (Athletic Club) and we will drive every day to the festival.

Is the VIP parking the same as the Expo Center VIP parking? Is it worth to pay for the VIP parking?

The first one is $30 per car, and the Expo Center is $50 per person, $100 in our case and $150 the day I hope my girl is coming (lawn tix day, we need to manage for an extra for her). So I think the difference is quite remarkable.

What do you think about?

    It is unclear to me whether or not that the Expo ticket includes parking in the VIP lot; the description says "access" to the VIP lot, so you may end up paying $30 or more on the day of to park there. Strictly from a financial standpoint, I wouldn't recommend the Expo tix just for parking. If you want access to the vendors (food I imagine) and indoor restrooms, then get Expo tix - parking being an extra perk. Hope that helps. There should be plenty of regular parking to go around.

    The pj20 site says "upgraded parking"... does that mean it's VIP or just closer to the venue (and furthest away from exiting)? I'm all for the expo passes, just want to figure out if I gotta think about buying VIP parking as well...

    if you have an expo pass you will have "vip/upgraded/closer to venue/next to expo center" parking. i hope this clears it up for everyone. no need to buy vip parking if you have an expo pass, you already get it with the expo pass.

    Finally I got VIP parking through Live Nation, although I had to phone because they didn't accept non-american credit cards.
