    I said somewhere else here recently regarding that clip - that is one of my all time favourite vids on youtube - I first saw it probably twelve months ago. The intensity, the daylight, the voice - it feels like Ed is deeply connecting with the song - letting it go its way. Do you notice the little 'shrug' / grimace / 'sigh' in the face just before he goes into it? - like something very very important is passing through his mind just as he gets in the mode. I always think this is a towering song - striving to forgive, and trying to find permission to let go. I feel in this performance it finds it. My favourite non-album version of Can't Keep by a mile

    Can't Keep is so much BETTER on the uke!

    I have framed photos of EV from this taping. It was a wedding gift... friend of my wife's knew the photographer who was on hand when they filmed that Burn to Shine.

    If you like the youtube clip, get the DVD. Great picture and sound, and the whole DVD is worth a watch, although that is the only Eddie song but there is a short bit with him being interviewed too. The DVD is called "Burn to Shine: volume 5". Well worth the $10-12 or so. It used to be available through the 10C but it's not anymore. It can be found on other web-sites that sell DVDs, CDs, Books...
