Okay rival, here's the deal....I know this record will be worth way more than $500 in the not too distant future...and I'm an old bastard (38) who has no reason not to hold onto it until it's more worth my while to sell...$500 is a lot for a record, but not really alot if you know what I mean...$500 doesn't go very far in my world.....but then again if you read my post above, I may sell it anyways....even I don't know what the fuck I'm gonna do.........

The exact reason I'm thinking of selling to get a Telecaster Like you said 500 bucks does not go very far when buying guitars.

Sometimes I feel like selling some of my stuff because I play guitar and get itchy all over for another piece of gear (like the Boogie Trident I just picked up the other day)...I am very much like that, I guess....itching to have something one day...ready to part with it the next...

I was seriously considering selling all my PJ records in one shot, the soldier field, my sealed ITW, Drop in the park, all studio records (a couple of which are sealed) just to see how much they'd fetch, test the market and see where it's at...I literally have hundreds of records and am pretty busy working 60+ hours a week and spending the rest of my time with my two kids and wife....I find that most of my free time is spent playing guitar, which is really my time to forget about the everyday stresses....and spinning PJ on the turntable doesn't even touch what playing guitar does for me......so that's it in a nutshell

so maybe you'll see my dumb ass posting another Ebay auction for every PJ record (except the Benny, I sold both of my copies to finance a new Les Paul) in the next day or so.... :oops:

i just dont know whats going on with rare pearl jam stuff at the moment..the solider field cd was selling between 80-100 last year.the vinyl was 350tops.
but the last year most rare items are going crazy.giveway cd $440 reeenk looks like it will hit $2000.

must be a new army of collectors.

its not always about time...its alot about money...you can get 80% of pearl jam cds/vinyl in a week if you had the cash.

some of the stuff I've had for 18 years or so...but most of it was acquired in the last 6-7 years
