Turning Mist proves Mr. McCready can do no wrong

The more I listen to it the more I love it. At first it reminded me of a retro 60's sounding song, but after my wife said it reminded her of Oasis now I hear that more. Either way though, it's beautiful.

Me and my 2 year old daughter have danced to it every night this week. It's making for some very magical memories. I know the whole band is credited for writing it, but you can hear Mike's influence all over it. It just goes to prove that Mr. McCready is a gift to us all.

Where else is the Turning Mist love?

    Personally, I can't stand it. Don't particularly care for Mike's voice, and the lyrics are cheesier than fondue IMO...

    I think its pretty good for what it is.
    Is it just me or does mike sound a little british in spots? :D

    I can't wait to hear it. Still haven't gotten my single yet though. . . I for one dig McCready's vocals though, from what I've heard so far. I learned to play Dead Flowers after hearing him play it. . . Awesomeness. Can't beat McCready.

    I like it too, though it's nothing like what I was expected from him...REALLY sounds a bit like britpop

    Thats funny, I'm British and didn't hear the Oasis sound in it at all. Sounds more like a country song with a PJ vibe to it...great guitar solo and Mike's wonderfully innocent and delicate vocal. He sounds proper young too when he sings, quality to hear him stepping up.

    Agree with the OP. It sounds to me Beatlesque. I like it though. Did anyone transcribed the lyrics?
