    So.

Let's talk about minor league players and getting called up.

Acuna, Torres and Andujar I never expected to see this year.

Senzel has batted 300 the last two years and not called up.

Was hoping for Maitan with the Angels but he had an off year.

Would have liked to see some of the Bluejays youngsters get called up.

    Robles hasn't done jack...

Anybody else you are looking for to come out?

Oh yeah and Adell for the Halos.  I can't wait to see him!

    See Cardinals’ roster.

Eloy Jimenez was shafted by the WSox.
Can't wait to see this dude and, even though I'm a Cubs fan, I hope he lives up to his potential and does great things on the South Side.  I think it's important for trades to work out well for both teams.

Torres would have been called up last year but he had surgery
Do you think he would have had significant playing time or sent back down after the 40 man roster was up?  Castro was here and the trade for Stanton didn't happen yet so by all means I had expected him to not be here so soon.

Tyler Wade was supposed to be coming up next.

from what I remember they were gonna have him compete in Spring Training not just a typical Spring Training. But the injury delayed that. And possibly trade Castro during the season

After last year, where he raked against A/AA/AAA, it was the plan to call up Acuna this year. He had a great spring this year and there was some talk over whether or not he would make the opening day roster. Ultimately, Anthopolous stayed with the plan to start him at AAA and call him up a few weeks in to keep that extra year of team control.

That said, I'm looking forward to seeing all the young arms in the Braves' organization. Soroka, Toussaint, Allard, Anderson, and a couple others have a lot of potential, but you know TINSTAAPP, so it will be interesting to see who plans out and who is used in future trades.

Credit the Brewers for the trade of the year on getting Yelich and another four years of very reasonable contract in his prime years.

DeGrom is definitely a candidate. Dude can’t help it if his team can’t score 1 or 2 fucking runs. He’s done everything in his power to put the Mets in a position to win almost every time he takes the mound. And they just can’t back him up with any offense at all.

I’d be fine with deGrom winning the Cy BUT......koufax never got much run support but still won. andy benes was a pitcher with a good era who never actually won.

I'll give it to deGrom. Ends the season with his 1000th career strikeout

Agreed. 24 consecutive QS and NEVER let up more than 3 runs since April.

I could give it to him.

Scherzer is the sexier pick with the K's but DeGrom isn't THAT far off with 269.

    I'll be fine either way.

    best case scenario?

cubs v. d**gers in a one game playoff. at least one of those fuckers would be gone.

Dodgers have the best possible chance to get the division. Unless your Giants ruin their chances. Might not even get a wild card if they don't win the division

just going by who the Rockies and Dodgers are playing these final 3 games. Rockies have the Nats and Dodgers have the Giants.

the nats are also rans, just like the giants, and I think they have about zero motivation to win. giants/d**gers is usually competitive, regardless of records.

That is crazy.  2 runs per game gets him from 9-9 to 20-6
4 runs is unrealistic but 2 runs is not.

That's some crazy stats he would have with just a run or 2 more a game.

I also heard that Aron Nola would have to throw 90 consecutive innings(10 games) in a row to lower his ERA to deGrom's. That's comical. Not a Mets fan at all, but he should win the Cy Young.
