don't like pearl jam ticket prices?

take the $92 and go check out some local shows. buy an LP or a t-shirt from said band. help them fund their tour.

do something positive instead of complaining on the internet.

    as far as price goes? that's just the cost of doing business. while it is noble for a band to try and keep ticket prices down as much as possible it can't stay that way forever. at some point they have to start thinking for themselves. you and i have no idea how much money they actually have or have made and in an uncertain world they want to secure their financial futures. they know they can't do this forever. the industry is changing. a band can either adapt to the change and continue performing or continue to fight, burn themselves out, and disappear into the proverbial fog.

    if you don't like the prices of tickets then exercise your free will and don't go to the show. if it's too much for you then don't pay. it's that simple. there are some great bands out there right now. spend $92 going to see three local bands and pick up some merchandise to support some kids touring.

    i just read the op again, and i can see that they are not complaining about the price, but thelling the complainers to go spend the money elsewhere :oops:

    sorry. you know. didn't mean to try and start a thread about doing something positive INSTEAD of bitching on the internet. there are countless bands out there that need your money more than pearl jam. i did forget this is the pearl jam message board. a place where everyone deserves front row tickets for every show. oh yes. and they'll only cost $25.

    i really don't understand the sense of entitlement here. pearl jam doesn't owe any of you people anything. deal with it.

    I started that thread and If you read any of it you wold see that a go to alot of shows and support a lot of acts most people here haven't even heard of...
