Ed just crushed it.

Don't want to ruin it for the West Coast folks, even though you can guess what he played.

Just wow.

I have it recording right now.

He played a protest song, which makes sense given the theme of Zinn's book and the show.

    No War?

I just thought Down because that is a Zinn inspired song.

Well, then nevermind. I just enjoyed not knowing when I watched it.

One of his best performances of it, at least that I've seen

    Raw power and emotion.

It may have seemed short since it didn't have the extra versions that he's added in the past.
    Just the Dylan original, maybe?

We all already knew he was singing Masters of War. It was not a secret. The only thing we didn't know was that it was cut which sucks for us fans of Ed but it was understandable for time reasons.

He nailed it! I was a little scared at the end when he glanced at the camera after the song.

If I am not mistaken, at the end of the show it was mentioned that a copy of the show and/or the soundtrack can be purchased @ the history channel website.

    That version was simply SUPERB!!

One observation, you know how he sounds extremely HATEFUL when he asks "Is your money that good"? He didn't sound that hateful tonight. He did that part somewhat in a different way.

Great performance of a great song. The whole album that Masters of War is on (A Free Wheelin Bob Dylan) is fantastic and a must-have for anyone who is a fan of Dylan.
It's nice to be nice to the nice.
