It's definitely Radiohead though, Thom starts singing about halfway into it.
I love it. It's like a mixture of Sonic Youth and krautrock. It's has a dark, menacing undercurrent to it.

Crazy yet genius all at the same time.
Maybe a little research??
thats the cheapest advertising these days... people that still buy albums are gonna buy it regardless once they like it... just get the word out
i assume the talk of not doing any more full albums for awhile was just a way of stirring up the buzz too
wonder how soon before we get a full EP

First was changing their style. They were sucessful after The Bends, changed for OK Computer, which got them huge success and spent the better part of a decade since making albums of which they pretty much dared their fans to not like them anymore (but they were all awesome). If you gave a Radiohead fan in 1995 Kid A, he would be like "what the fuck is this?" Most bands find a mold, and stay in it until the genre dies. Radiohead just creates their own genre and keeps reinventing themselves.
Second, In Rainbows. Would you ever see the day when a band doesn't even ask for money for their new album? This totally went against the grain of signing a 3 album deal, making 2 and a greatest hits and sell them all at record stores and electronics stores for $15. They did the opposite of what bands work for. Bands want that record contract for guaranteed money and financing; Radiohead just gave it away.
Third, the internet leak. Most bands (Pearl Jam being one) cringe at the thought of one of their songs leaking before the album comes out. Radiohead leaks it themselves. Instead of fearing the internet, they use it as a tool. They embrace the change and while we haven't seen whether or not this move has paid off, we all know it will because it's Radiohead
Could you imagine if the whole article about them not releasing an album soon was fake and one is coming out next week?

The new song is allegedly encoded exactly like the download for Harry Patch (In Memory Of)...which Radiohead released last week.
