Only because I'm REALLY bored at work..

I guess they didn't fall off the planet.. yet, but I heard Creed has a new album out a month after Pearl Jam does, so I thought I'd google info on it..

Thought it was funny they had two new songs titled "No More Wasted" and "Slow Suicide".. I guess they really liked Avocado song titles..

God help us all.

    I know I shouldn't care about it or them.. but I was bored and was thinking to myself, If I have to have Creed music shoved down my throat again, while Pearl Jam remains under the radar.. well, I ain't gonna happen this time. God help us. lol

    I'm not trying to piss on the parade here and def not defending Creed b/c I hate them, but naming similarly or even the same happens... just look @ the titles of some of the songs from Backspacer...

    Speed of Sound - Coldplay
    The End - The Doors
    Supersonic - Oasis
    Force of Nature - Oasis
    The Fixer - George Thorogood (also that Metallic song, kind of)

    I know, I know.. but I still got that puke feeling when I read the song titles. It's almost like they purposely did it, but purposely changed it a little.. either way, puke.

    try going to www.allmusic.com one day and typing in a song title. it is unreal how many songs have similar titles.
    same for movies.

    You guys are missing my point.. I know there's millions of songs with the same names, and that song names are just english words used for reference and there's only so many.. I've argued your point with people in the past. I agree with you.

    MY point being,.. given Creeds past, its just humorous to me. In a way its like they wanted to use the same titles, but changed them a little bit so no one would know.. Most likely this wasn't the case, but its still seems funny and obnoxious to me given Creeds past.. Maybe their next album will be titled "Spacing Back". ;)

    Right after "Given to Fly" came out, Creed came out with songs called "Arms Wide Open" and "Faceless man", both lyrics from "Given to Fly". Thought that was funny too. I think Stapp worships Eddie secretly.

    I agree. I like maybe THREE songs off of that cd from 1997. I won't hit you :) I want to be myself and not follow the leader here. p.s. I don't agree 100 percent, just noticed you said you hate them. I don't hate anyone!
