Hi all,

I'll finally be seeing TR live for the first time in October and I am super excited. Gonna be an awesome week cause I'm seeing Roger Daltrey the same week. Anyway had a couple of quetions about their show:

Do they mix it up pretty good?
How is the crowd, (moshing surfing douchebaggery? just curious)
Do they have an open taping policy like pj?

Thanks so much for your help. much appreciated. :D

saw my 17th Hip show two nights ago and i have MAYBE seen 5 flags in total at these shows....im always close, so maybe im not looking behind me. i dont understand these comments, as stated before.

For this tour they have 9 different setlists in rotation, yes they mix it up a lot......taping will be fine im sure...just dont set up a tripod or anything. depending on the venue, if it is a theater, it will be fairly peaceful, but near the end of the show, the bodyguard will tell security to let people up to the stage and it becomes GA for 5 rows across the stage, there is usually no foolishness. Everyone will be in great spirits.

    ENJOY THE SHOW!

The show I saw in Detroit back in May is my fav concert of all-time. Yes, better than PJ in Buffalo or at State College. They were on fire.

    They do mix it up.

Crowd was awesome, nothing appalling or annoying going on... certainly better than most PJ crowds I've been in.

    No clue about taping.

I think I'm on some Hip message board, but I don't post there regular and don't remember which one it is.

I think the Hip have become my fav band. Their albums are more consistent, they seem to be moving towards their strengths instead of away from them, and their live show is totally comparable. PJ hasn't done an album that really got to me since Binaural, but both of the last 2 Hip albums were pretty great I thought, and even their worst albums have more quality tunes than Riot Act.
