Aussie Influences : The Angels

"The Angles"
I'm not sure if those band influenced anyone in PJ, but Mike was wearing on of their T-shirts in a Perth 90's gig. I know they influenced some LA scene bands like GnR, Great White, etc. Their mix of blues rock, metal and punk rock with dark lyrics was always better to my ear than their more famous stablemates AC/DC. To me, they are the Aussie Ramones (but they play better).
They've just got back to their original 70s line up and have begun touring again. I just saw them and apart from being older and slower, they rocked and sounded great. I quickly made up this webvsite of Angels videos and concert clips if anyone wants to take a trip down aussie rock memory lane:
