What the hell do I start with if I want to know some of their songs they play live. It would be nice to actually know A song from an opener and never heard any of their stuff. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    my personal favorite is
    The Empire Strikes First

Recipe for Hate has Eddie Vedder as backing vocals on Kerosene and some other songs. The EV wiki doesn't list Kerosene but says American Jesus and Watch It Die were the songs he was on. This was the first Bad Religion album I got because of the EV appearance. Its awesome, but I still thing The Empire Strikes First is awesomesauce~

I think he sings on Struck a Nerve. One of the last "struck a nerve" yells at the end is definitely him.
    NERDS!

Thanks guys. I'm checking them out. American Jesus sounded pretty decent. Good youtube link!

Ed sings the whole "I saw a man..." verse to Struck A Nerve.

No Control is by far the most concise, furious record they've made. My recommendation.
Using the word "methinks" in your message board posts doesn't make you look smart.

The lines Eddie sings are from Watch it Die.

"I saw a man, on the big blue screen
    He ruled the world...economy
    the rich will never concede
but soon he'll be put to sleep"

These are the only lines Eddie sings solo as far as I know. It's a great song.

Bad religion has many great albums. You should start with.....
    -The gray race
    -Stranger than fiction
    -Recipe for hate
    -Generator

Get back to me after these. They have many more. And they are amazing live. Enjoy

Process of Belief has a ton of good stuff on it. Set list wise I'd guess a few as:

    Suffer
    Stranger than Fiction
    Sorrow
    21 century digital boy
    recipe for hate
    Come join Us
    Cease
    American Jesus
    Were only gonna die
    Koyoto Now

they'll play a greatest hits show... Fawk this would be so awesome to go to

    Nice.....

    Infected
    Going for a walk
    watch it die(with Eddie)
  • i think you can still find tested which was a live album from the gray race era. they pretty much still play the same songs from the older albums so that would be a good start. also all ages is a greatest hits of sorts if you can find that.

though they will play stuff after gray race id skip all those albums until after you heard/bought the stuff from before mr brett left the band.

Any help? Ok... then my helpful advice is to linger in the beer for a few extra cheap beers and get there around 830 so you miss Bad Religion and just get to dive right into PJ ;)
