Anyone catch them last night? They are pretty new to me, but I dug what I saw/heard.

Considering picking up their newest album.

Shall I? Any of their early stuff good for a spin?

Thanks!

I like their last album the best as far as a whole album standpoint. I think that Kissing Families from their first is their best song though.

stellar performance last night! i wasnt blown away when i saw them live last - there was some sound issues i think... but they were really great on dave

both their albums are great (i think theres only 2?) and definitely worth checking out... hes a unique vocalist... and that female bass player is really solid

they should open in chicago! :D

they have 3 albums. Maybe 2.5 because one only has 6 songs I believe
  • they have an EP and 2 albums. I like the first one a lot more. the second one has a couple of good songs, but the rest just blend together and bore me a little. Carnavas and the EP are great!

Great band! Saw them live a couple of years ago with Dead Moon and Wolfmother and they kicked ass. Blew Dead Moon out of the water. The new album is really solid beginning to end. You should check it out.

Really good band. A shining light for modern rock. I definitely recommend 'Carnavas', it's fucking fantastic. Then 'Swoon' has some exquisite moments like Royal We & Panic Switch, but on the whole just doesn't quite live up to its predecessor, big boots mind you. Still a pretty good listen. Last, but certainly not least, is the 'Pikul' EP, a great companion, especially for Kissing Families as someone else on here highlighted. There's some killer stuff on there.

So there you go, get it all & be happy.
