I can go through weeks and weeks of listening to nothing but Neil Young. It's been that way for about 25 years so I guess you could call that an addiction!
Apart from PJ, the other bands that get a lot (and I mean a lot) of repeat plays in my place would be
Wilco
Anything with Mark Lanegan on it
REM
Masters of Reality
You Am I
I honestly can't remember a time when I didn't want to listen to these bands!
“Do not postpone happiness”
(Jeff Tweedy, Sydney 2007)
It's safe to say I've been a Pearl Jam addict since I was very young, as my mom completely raised me on their music starting at 2 years old when Ten was first released. Apparently I thought "Alive" was just the shit when I was 3ish, dancing around in the back of the car and singing. I also had a huge appreciation for CSNY/Neil Young when I was little (something to do with thinking "Helpless" was about Big Bird ) and I can hardly go a week without listening to my old favourites to this day. Ed doing "Helpless" at Massey Hall last summer was THE most moving musical experience of my life, hands down.
Lately, I've also been heavily addicted to Wilco, Sam Roberts and quickly renewing my past obsession with Our Lady Peace (not including anything they've done since Spiritual Machines).

I own close to 500 CD's and the best one that I can't seem to put down for more than a week is Zakk Wylde's Book of Shadows. This by and far blows any other albums I have out of the water. I highly suggest you check it out. For the record it sounds nothing like Black Label Society. It is a solo record done in 94 and is some of the most pleasing music I have ever heard. It never gets old.
The new album made me remember how much I love them.
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...
... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
Ryan Adams....my god, can't stop...
Fugazi (Always the right time to listen to some Fugazi)
Rollins Band (I'll love this band forever)
Type O Negative...I think I like this band too much..
Jane's Addiction

Hell yes. Book Of Shadows is awesome! I've had it for a couple of years and it's damn good, and his stuff with BLS is awesome as well.
