for those that don't know, Jim James of MMJ has an alter ego! The Tribute To EP was something he did when George Harrison died in 2001 and is available on his website now!

Anyone else download this yet? My files have a weird staticy chirp between each song. The music is awesome, but the loud obnoxious chirp is a total mood killer when listening to this chill music. I contacted his website and topspin to see if i can get a new download link=\

    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    i got a reply back with a new download link and so far the chirp is still there. glad i am not the only one with the problem. i hope they can clean it up!

    edit: i double checked and i only get the chirp on the new apple lossless files from the link they sent me. the mp3's are all cleaned up! hopefully they can resolve the lossless chirp for those that want it.

    love it! bare instrumentally compared to MMJ but the same powerful voice... seems like one of those albums you can chill to, make love to, and drive to... gotta love that versatility :D
