Down on the Upside: Appreciation Thread

Many people criticize Down on the Upside, but I think it's Soundgarden's most underrated record. There isn't really a weak song on the entire album. "Ty Cobb," "Blow Up the Outside World," "Overfloater," "Boot Camp," "Switch Opens," "Tighter and Tighter," etc., are all pretty excellent.
Maybe it isn't what people were expecting after the classic Superunknown, but over time I think people have learnt to appreciate it much more, kind of like the initial reception to No Code and the fact that it's now considered one of Pearl Jam's better albums by many fans.

DOTU is fucking amazing. SWITCH OPENS is probably my favorite SG song. the drumming in that song fits the music so incredibly... I could drum to it all day.
