NIN presale for Chicago

Q101 just announced they're having a presale for NIN tickets.
Starting Friday, July 24th at 5pm until Friday, July 31st 4pm.
Ticket price is $57.50, 4 tickets max.
Password: NINQ

    I missed out on the NYC shows. The NIN site crashed hardcore when they went on sale! I am bummed about that one. I only had the ability to make the Saturday and Sunday shows in NYC and they were only available through NIN.com.

    there is a second pre-sale as well by Jam, and also one for the 2 NYC shows:

    Q101: NINQ
    Jam: goodbye
    NY: byebye

    also, if you havent read about it, these pre-sales are all paperless ticketing, so you have to use what you buy and your whole group has to be there in order for you to get in.

    yeah, i missed out on the NIN presale too. I was attending a wedding at the time of the presale so i had my best friend try and get them for us. He couldn't get onto the website and then when he finally could the website wouldn't take my password. It was super frustrating!!

    I'm confused... you can use either of the first two passwords for the Chicago presale in an hour? Is the onsale eastern or central time?

    sale time is 5 pm central. Q101 and Jam are for the Chicago shows.

    the ny presale sold out in less than two minutes. i got two tix to terminal 5. here's what i did. use firefox. open another window with the atomic clock - ticketmaster is synced up to it. have the page with the shows on it. i refreshed once and got the 'get tickets' link. put in for 2 and the password is the box to the right, although it didnt say enter password. enter the captcha and try not to misspell it. very easy, although a lot of people didnt get any.

    I got my ticket at 5:15.

    At first I pulled up a ticket right when they went on sale, but after I put in all my info and pressed submit order there was an error. Supposedly this happened too a lot of people- I guess not even TMs servers could handle the amount of people trying. I didn't quit though and was shocked when another ticket came up.

    I got 2 tickets for saturday right away at 5. I hesitated though because I wasn't sure if I wanted to drive 8 hours to get there so I let the order expire. Then I changed my mind and could only get 1 ticket and then couldn't checkout. Waited a little while (5:25) and tried again and got 2 for saturday and checked out, but got a error screen with a reference number. Surprisingly I was able to go back in the browser and fill out my billing info again and was able to get the 2 for Saturday. I did try last week on nin.com and couldn't get any there.

    Expensive fall season for me since I am also flying out to San Diego.

    I didn't see that but I mainly hang on ETS. Most of those folks are cool - I've met some of them and will hopefully see some of them in NYC. There's a few people coming from overseas too.

    Oh - that error thing - I got some weird error when I was trying to put my second order through, so I just hit back on the browser and submitted it again and it went through.

    I actually realized about 10 minutes before the onsale that I probably can't make it to Chicago that weekend. :( Which is depressing as I'm listening to Ghosts and I'd forgotten how good it was. I've seen the two-half times... we arrived late for their opening spot on the NINJA tour and had to leave their Lolla set early. I really want to see a real, full NIN show before they're gone, but it doesn't look like it's in the cards.

    I'll be at Webster Hall and both T5 shows...and I'm not done in trying to get a Bowery ticket yet!!

    I tried for Bowery last week. I can't even imagine how good that show is going to be. I' happy I'm at least going to a T5 show.
