SAD SAD SAD SAD SAD ~Neg (creative) itivity

It's too bad that there is such a NEGITIVE vibe from so many about the new album...there are so many opinions and that is what they are "opinions"..

the "fixer" is an alvacado song for sure..it fits in with"big wave" & "unemployment"...not as good as either, but it fits in..

"Got some" is a better song than the "fixer', but thought could change in time...

I will be interested to see what type of reviews will be out there when the whole collection of songs hit the market.. (from critics to the real fans)

But people...it has to be better than the rest of the CD's that come out today..and remember most cd's clocked in at 45 minutes or so with the classic rock 70's hey day era!!!

Give the cd a few months listen and then make a whole decision on where it sits.... :D

Neg (creative) itivity...."it is what it is" love it or leave it alone..

Peace and out...see you at the shows

P.S..Pearl jam still is the modern day Led Zeppelin in my OPINION

Seriouly what are you on about?

Pearl Jam put out an album (songs even), we arn't allowed to say it our own first critic by saying its bad?

Got Some is a brilliant song, Fixer is lame in my eyes.

Don't know what forum you have been reading but i think its pretty 50/50 on whether if people like it or not, if anything its higher on the like it side.

um...i've given my opinion on The Fixer. i've said that i like it a lot, but not as much as Got Some. i've also said that it sounded 10X better through headphones---it helps you hear all of the little parts better. i don't have an issue with PJ at all--they have been my favorite band since a little after Ten came out.

Not that I don't like the song, but there's still a whole lot of good music out there, and there have been plenty of albums that I enjoyed that were released this year. It's not like this album is going to be the only good thing musically for the entire year.

just looking for your posts or opinions....like everyone else today and the new songs..what people think..it's just amazing how many have an issue w/ the greatest band since 1990..or don't you feel that way?

It's also amazing how immature people are, just constantly bickering back and forth. I remember I had much more fun with World Wide Suicide just sitting there listening to the song, and I didn't start getting on these boards on a normal basis until about a year and a half ago. I think I'm just going to stay off till the next album comes out and see what everyone complains about on the first single.
