I think we demand so much from the band that sometimes I feel that they are in a no win situation whether its how they promote the album or the fan club ticket policy is unfair or they do not tour enough,man as a true fan I fell lucky that each time I see them play live I feel like they just get better with age. As for the new single THE FIXER each time I hear it I like it more and more.

I agree with the OP......only thing i have to add, is that the 10C could have made the announcments instead of us reading about them elswhere (german rags, websites, etc, etc)

Ths is the "OFFICIAL" fan club right?

Agree completely - I'm so happy to have new PJ and 3 shows on my calendar I can barely contain myself on a day to day basis.

do we really need this thread every time a new song comes out? people will like it and people wont like it. I dont really care either way. Why are you so hurt by it? Its freedom of speech. and considering i had to pay twenty bucks just to talk about my favorite band (yes, MY FAVORITE BAND. deal with that!), i think i can say whatever i want. even if its not all happy sunshine and rainbows.

or should i just shut up and only post glowing reviews of every song and business decision they've ever made?

Yea, that latter part (I'm joking)

My only hang up with all the negativity is that the majority of it is not constructive, but rather inflamatory or with little to no substance. I really have no hang up with people being critical as long as it's constructive. If I wanted to bitch about ticket prices there's no stopping off point, it would go on for the rest of my life and I'd be a miserable grump.

I don't mind differing opinions, but it's when the naysayers completely take over a thread and try to rule out the people who enjoy the song that pisses me off.

I agree...too much negitivity

"Got some" is a better song than the "fixer', but thought could change in time...

I will be interested to see what type of reviews will be out there when the whole collection of songs hit the market.. (from critics to the real fans)

But people...it has to be better than the rest of the CD's that come out today..and remember most cd's clocked in at 45 minutes or so with the classic rock 70's hey day era!!!

Give the cd a few months listen and then make a whole decision on where it sits....

Pearl Jam put out an album (songs even), we arn't allowed to say it our own first critic by saying its bad?

Got Some is a brilliant song, Fixer is lame in my eyes.

Don't know what forum you have been reading but i think its pretty 50/50 on whether if people like it or not, if anything its higher on the like it side.

Regarding ticket prices etc, thats just another thing.

I guess you are adding more negative by making a big caps thread.
