Everyone thought the same thing when "Parting Ways" was the last track on Binaural, and we all know how that turned out.

    Calm down, people.

I agree...except for the "unheard" part. It was played on the solo shows and it is great

...especially when it hasn't even been released yet.

Unheard is debatable - Eddie debuted it during his tour, and played it a few times more I believe. It's one of, if not the, most beautiful song Eddie's ever written in my opinion - and does not sound like it's the end of a band, so much as the end of a life. It's a very tragic song, and can't wait to hear it with those supposed strings that the song has an abundance of apparently.

such a beautiful, tragic song. if the rumors about the strings are true, it may end up being one of my favorites. can't wait to hear it with the full band!

I agree. The strings version/instrumental of this song sounds great.

Well it is the last song of the album, otherwise known as 'the end' of the album.. You people read into things too much.. Shouldn't you all be working or something??

Listen to the lyrics. The song's about someone dying young, probably with a terminal illness, who just wants to grow old. It's not the end of the band, just a beautiful song

Yeah, everyone said the same thing about "Parting Ways" -3 albums later they're still a band-

Based on what I've read: "The End" appears to be about death.

Now if they released a song called : "Our Last Song Ever" than I'd be a little bit worried.
