Economy affecting the band?

I was just wondering if the economy is affecting the band's actions somewhat. I like The Fixer and I think they might realize (since they are releasing this on their own) that things are really expensive, people aren't buying music like they used to, and they need to actually try to sell a decent amount of copies of the album. Hence the Target partnership and the catchy first single. Doesn't matter to me as I will support them either way. It might even be cool to have them be a little more relevant in pop culture again.

I'm sure the economy is having an impact on them, but it's not reflected in the manner with which they're promoting the new material...

And it's affect. With an "A."

Sorry grammar police. BTW, I always get those wrong no matter what.

What a dicky thing to correct someone about.

It is funny because I am a college graduate with better than average grammar. I never get that one right so I always just use effect because that way I'm right half of the time. :D

I probably deserve it because it drives me nuts (don't know why) when people use nauseous incorrectly and I correct them.

You can't begin a sentence with a conjunction. You can't begin a sentence with a preposition.

That reminds me of my favorite Harvard joke:

A visitor is walking through Harvard yard and stops to ask a student,

"Excuse me would you tell me where that library is at?"

The student replies, "At Harvard, we never end our sentences with a preposition."

The visitor replies, "Fine, can you tell me where the library is at, @sshole!"
