I pretty well knew this wouldn't top January's Union Chapel gig and I was right. The venue was alright, but Dulli was having issues with the sound of... well everything it seemed. He had a grand piano which was quite cool and definitely added to the gig. The biggest detraction, though, was they dropped two songs from the encore: What Jail Is Like and Dollar Bill. They only started playing that this tour and I was looking forward to it all gig long. I cannot believe it got dropped. There were enough repeats from January that they really should have made it a point not to drop those two, especially Dollar Bill! At least we did get some Trees with Sworn & Broken which was absolutely beautiful. So it was a good gig, but somewhat of a letdown.

Gutted about those two songs being dropped though. I was listening to Gentlemen in the car this morning and I thought 'What Jail Is Like' would have sounded so cool last night. The first few notes of 'Two Minutes To Midnight' were hardly a fair exchange!
Thanks for posting the set list photo!
