Thoughts...PJ doing a Doors tune - LA Woman?

Ok....So I'm listening to the radio and my wife is talking about work etc. My mind drifts off while she is speaking and I'm listening to the Doors it was LA woman. I like the Doors, then I began to ponder this crazy notion, what if Ed and the band did a cover of this tune? I mean Ed has a great Baritone voice and I could see him pull it off. We'd get to have BOOM play and everything! Is this a far out stretch? I'm I thinking non-sense? What are your thoughts?
Still pondering. Ok...did they ever do a Doors cover tune before?

    yes they have done a doors cover before. i think it was roadhouse blues and it sounded great. i actually want to hear back door man. i would like to be the first to say please do a doors cover this tour it would be awesome. oh i think that cover is on that podcast donny does. i think it was either this or last weeks podcast

    Wow! I didn't know that. So...it's possible for them to do a Doors cover and since they'll be playing uhhhh a few shows in LA, why not LA Woman? I really think PJ could pull off a killer Doors tune. Listen to LA Woman and tell me what you think.
    Man...if I meet Ed before the show, I'm going to have to ask him to play LA Woman! LOL!!

    They can pull anything off. But I dont think they will cover the Doors. Ed played a set with the Doors and he sounded great. But Morrison is one voice you cant imitate. And they were a heavy keyboard band. Not happening. Besides no one in PJ plays a slide guitar which is mandatory

    When The Doors got inducted to the Hall of Fame Ed sat in on vocals for 3 songs. Roadhouseblues, Light My Fire and Break on Through.
