VERY DISSAPOINTED....

Like a lot on here I am sure, I was extremely dissapointed at the sale that just passed.
45 minutes of trying to get on to buy tickets to the 10/28 Philly show and another hour for the 10/30 show. The most aggravating part of that one was I was able to get on many times, but when I was ready to "BUY" and there was no button to hit and it said OUT OF STOCK at the bottom.

Thank god one of my best friends whos is a die hard PJ fan himself works for a radio station and knows people. He got me 4 great tix for the 10/30 show on Thursday before the public sale. I would have actually went the ebay or stub hub route if needed to see this show.

I see PJ multiple times every tour and this was my first year that I actually was in the club. I was fortunate enough to get 3rd row for the last Eddie show at the tower, but feel cheated on the fact of how much of a pain this sale was for a regular tour. I wonder if the club is gonna do something else for this sale since this was something that happened to a lot of people.

i had no buy button within 5 minutes both sales. i just kept on refreshing and saw the buy button eventually. not bragging or anything at all.

I would count on it...most of the 10c sales for the really popular shows end up this way. Demand is just too great for the number of tix available.

10C doesn't have enough tix to meet demand. It's just the way it is...

With connections like you said, why even bother with 10 club?

    haha..yeah...
way to make everyone sympathize with you...
everyone goes through refresh for buy button (rinse and repeat) sometimes for an hour before it goes officially.
i feel even worse for you knowing you have a back up anyways!

I honestly have no idea why people have problems getting tix for the presales! It is ALWAYS so easy for me... Only thing I can tell from the whole experience and from reading threads and posts like this is, the majority of the people that have problems are not "regulars". That being said, is the only connection I can see with anyone having any issues with getting tix other than, maybe, shitty computers used??? Not really sure though, just an observation...

I have friends of mine who are on this board who also got shut out. Friends who have also seen the band numerous times.

But my friends dont have "connections" in the music/radio industry, so they are shit out of luck.

And am I supposed to feel sorry for you if you would have had to get tickets through ebay/stubhub/ticketmaster?

You should have tried for 10club tickets in 06.....It was much worse....People were on the website for 1-3 hours, just to get shut out.

The first three LA shows were a bitch to get, the first two were gone in less than a minute. Be thankful you were able to lollygag for 45 minutes.

I find it funny that your complaining about not getting tix to the first presale you've attempted. For as many shows as Ive seen via 10c presale, Ive missed the boat for just as many.

im flying from South Dakota to Austin then to LA cuz I wanna see the greatest band on the planet twice and nothing is gonna stop me.

Quit your bitchin and be thankful you had the oppurtunity for presale and that youre gonna see a fuckin sweet show

Dude since 91 I have rarely gotten 10 tix on my own but have seen many shows that always squash any bad vibes I felt not scoring seats here. IMO this thread should be called 'one lucky SOB'. Don't understand how holding excellent seats to the only east coast shows is disappointing. Maybe I missed your point.

Since the OP says its his first time trying for 10club seats, and this was his first year in the 10club.....

Can you imagine how "dissapointed" he would have been, had he gotten his 10club seats................

And found out he was in the 2nd balcony side stage..........

This guy (the orginal poster) is a whiner/weener. Speaking of weeners, I want Ween to open for PJ on their next tour.

Listen to the people who had posted replies that I was either complaining or braging, that was not the point. The "connection" that I spoke about was the first time I ever used him and felt greatfull that it happened that way. My main purpose was that I was sharing my feelings on how that sale went. As I read some replies, I am geussing that I prob. would have gotten some shitty seats anyway. This is all new to be as far as a ''member", so thanks to all who had something reassuring to say. I have been a die hard fan since TEN and have way to much PJ shit in my condo. I am told I got some good tickets so I cross my fingers. On this note the booking agent said there is no 31st show. HOPE THERE IS SO I CAN USE MY CONNECTIONS AGAIN.....

Yeah there is need... so we can all assure each other our entitlement with how long we have been a fan for and the fact we have 3 posters and a post-it note that says "I Luv U Ed" in our collection.

Seattle I and II were my first EVER successes scoring 10c's. Finally was able to get in the 10C seats after being unsuccessful for Denver 06, Hawaii 06, the Vic, and Ed's LA shows in 08. I know absolutely no one, so I had to got with Ticketmaster with all of the others except for the Vic, which wasn't available on TM. My wife and I will be the ones hoping for a little lottery love, but if not, no biggie. I am in the house in 10c seats! :D:D
